I don't know what it is for your base, but it sounds like it should be completely off.

Please try adjusting these 2, depending on what you are missing:

    (kerbs_surface_scale 5.0)
    and
(kerb_bump_scale 3.0) #How big the tall curb bumps are.

and let me know what they need to be to be felt ok. Not too much, as we don't want exaggerated stuff in the file, we want it to behave "well"

That ABS effect is very nice. Maybe a bit to strong but i really like it. I have only used a GT3 to test it.

    Ok, great, you can adjust
    (abs_scale 0.5)

I put it kind of high, as in real life they really kick in hard so you feel it. Also we don't want to take it as "tear", which would be an issue if we make it too weak, I think.
Anyways, if you find a better value, please post.

Boci, I was having the same lack of feel on curbs and small bumps and Karsten pointed me to the areas below. I have settled on these small adjustments and hope this will fit what you are looking for as well.

    Thank you Terry,

Close to the top there are some "master" scales. One is for road, try increasing that slightly.
If you need more specific adjustments, search for texture_scale you should see various bump scales as well, right there as well as a suspension scale.

    Best,

Absolutely perfect, that's what I was looking for. Below are the values I have made slight adustments to for just a bit more bump and kerb feel. I wanted just a bit more immersion from these features without being over the top.

    # Main dials
    (master_rack 0.85) #Rack and road scale.
    (master_road 1.20) #Road bumps, details and suspension
    (master_effects 1.50) #Effects scale.

    # Road features settings
    #

    (texture_scale 1.0)
    (micro_bumps_scale 0.475)
    (micro_bumps_smooth 0.006)
    (kerbs_surface_scale 5.2)
    (kerbs_surface_smooth 0.03)
(kerb_bump_scale 3.2) #How big the tall curb bumps are.
(large_track_bump_scale 0.055) #how much bumps on the track are felt.
    (symmetric_bump_scale 4)
(large_offroad_bump_scale 0.1) #how much bumps off the track are felt.

    Best regards,

i have time now to try playing with these scales.

    Surface scale on 6.0
    Kerb_Bump scale at 4

also set the master rack, road and effect scale a little bit higher

i Try everything at 100 in game, but still no kerb effect, or its almost close to zero.

Sliders are not so aggressive in this file, trying to make them usable in their full range, so they are not going high enough for non-DD it seems, I will change that.
But adjust those kerbs values higher.
Try doubling them and see what happens.

is it a very specific curb?
what kerb_surface scale does is it scales up the surface on the curbs. That means no artificial stuff is added, so if it's a specific curb that does not actually have anything but painted different colors on it, you will not feel the bumps on it, since they are not there.
But there are many curbs that do have bumps on them and you should feel those.

I test it on SPA, i didnt feel anything on any curb.
tried copy the curb settings from Danielkart, and it seems to work...not much as his own complete file, but its do the job :)

    Thanks,

The script reader is very sensitive, so likely you had put in a wrong character somewhere, a comma, or a missing parenthesis, I'm afraid...
