    Hello!
I'm intentionally only active in this forum. I don't post in any other forums because I think it belongs here, in Reiza's forum and with custom files. Also, there are people who constantly update everything with different customs from different people so they can choose. A dedicated thread for me would look different; it wouldn't all be about customs. It would be more of a thread for customs mixed with base settings and immersive hardware. For me, the FFB is only one part of having a good experience with a simulation. The file is perhaps 50-60%, the most important part in conveying a realistic feeling, as far as possible (it will never simulate 100% reality). The other half, which is just as important to me, is the immersion that can be achieved through various aspects or hardware. And mixing all of that with the "fun factor" is what makes a good simulation for me.
Honestly, for me, the physics and FFB in sim racing haven't gotten any better than they did in the past or in older simulations.I only see an evolution here. But I do see a revolution in the hardware (immersion) compared to previous titles.Of course, the creators of simulations have to implement these new possibilities with their software. Look at how a game looks today in terms of graphics performance compared to the past, look at the possibilities that are possible today with immersion hardware compared to the past, look at the change from DDS (and this is just the beginning of DDS) with its new possibilities compared to the past, look at the new and technological advances of pedals compared to the past, and so on... For me personally, this has become the revolution for this hobby in sim racing.
I think if people search for my customs, they'll find them, or they can send me a private message in this thread :)

@Karsten Hvidberg after testing your latest file with the modified settings, i have curb effect now at around 28-30, changing the mentioned
    (bump_fx_blend (min 1 (/ (max 0 (- fx 0.2)) 0.2))) to (bump_fx_blend (min 1 (/ (max 0 (- fx 0.2)) 0.1)))

a little bit bumped up the (lo_fx_kerbs_surface_scale to 6.2)
    and (hi_fx_kerbs_surface_scale to 9.2)

one more question...where can i find the suspension settings ?...i think its a little bit low for my likings :D

altough the FFB file is great, i have a little bit oscilation with 15 damping on fast corners ( at Eau Rouge for example) ..but its okay for me. :)

    In game settings:
    Gain:70
    LFB: 25
    FX:28
    Damper:15

    rFuktor ? experimental 3.9.9.9.9.6

    * Adjusted feeling on grass slightly up - @Paulo Frazao this might be enough?
    * Adjusted center to be slightly more relaxed - @Paulo Frazao does this help with oscillations?
    * Adjusted suspension scale up slightly for higher FX - @Boci is this enough?

    Suspension is enough yes :)

one more question...where can i decrease the stiffnes at speed...it is the (master_rack ? :)

    It depends.
Try simply reducing ingame force down, so it is not too stiff at speed.
That is usually what you want.

    Or is it something else?

Nah...just want a little bit lighter at high speed/cornering...will try to reduce gain down.
Will try it today again. :)

    * Less damping. Adjust damping slider up if you don't want oscillations. If you rather have more fluent movement around center at the cost of extra oscillations, keep it at 0.
    * Adjusted "center_full" slightly down. Feedback very welcome on this, what is better? 0.4, 0.5 or 0.6?

Karsten, I do not have words to describe just how amazing this ffb file feels, I have felt each iteration produce a consistently better and better file. Just when I think there is no way for it to feel any better you release a new version that quickly dispels that belief lol. For my taste I prefer the "center_full 5" best. 6 seems a bit tight around center, 4 a bit loose and 5 just right. The damper slider seems to provide sufficient damping to control the oscillations. I prefer to run zero damping and don't mind the oscillations since I always keep my hands on the wheel and enjoy the liveliness of not damping my steering. Thank you so much for your dedication and hard work. Everyone in the community can benifit from all of these amazing custom ffb files.
