Hi, the ‘rear slip effect [0–1]’ is the amount of force loss caused by the slipping rear. More yaw → more force; more rear slip → less of this force. This value controls the ‘amount of reduction’.
The previous default was set to 1 (not changeable), which was way too much for my liking, so I reduced it a bit but left the option for users to adjust it as they wish.
    Hope this is makes sense.

    Hi karsten ,

Been sick just coming back. I almost missed you. I hope it wasn't frustration leading to your decisions. Always been using and liking some version of your files from the beginning. Right thru the pandemic etc..

I wish you much happiness in your future!

    Much love,

    Guido aka LugNut

    Hey LugNut!

No, not at all, just a long and needed travel vacation, so I cant use it. Instead I will have plenty time for learning to play the guitar (I'm a complete beginner). It's nice, since with the guitar, to me there is no goal to "master" it, rather I hope it will be a life long journey instead vs everything in life being so goal oriented!

    Best,

    -K

@GJDriessen did you find the right settings for the Rfuktor with the fanatec csw settings ?

I have CSW V2, but with the latest file, i have clipping when driving on fast corners-trough kerbs

    My settings in game :
    Gain 55
    LFB 50
    FX 50
    Damper 0

Hi everybody! I use the latest version of the rFuktor2 file. Thanks to all the people who helped to create it! I want to deactivate the abs effect completely because I use haptic pedals. How can I achieve that?

Update: Did a little bit more research, found the abs_scale parameter and set it to 0.0, that did the trick...

    Hi guys!
I thought i would share my settings which conveys AMS2 in best possible way to me and eliminates the floaty grip feeling.

    This was kinda accidental discovery.
I accidentally managed to set my wheelbase to Auto Setup-mode from Fanatec Control Panel.
I didn't notice this at first and thought that the cars felt way less floaty and the front grip was less pronounced.
I checked the patch notes and since there was no updates, i thought i was going crazy.

The Auto Setup had raised the interpolation filter from zero to 11 - that reduced significantly the very pronounced road texture feel that AMS2 has. The outcome was much more plausible and enjoyable feeling, since the road texture feels like the tyres are always gripping the same amount.
So i reduced it from the rurEEE's rack force ffb script which i've been using.

There's still some road feel present, but now you feel the tyre peak grip and the car balance better. With the original settings i felt like the tyres were always gripping in every situation, this is very subjective of course.

    Other recommendations which are related to the slip angle/front tyre feeling;

    1. Play with the steering angle settings. Lowering the steering angle to smaller degree the car requires more input for same rotation. It makes the experience more in line with other sims.

    2. Tyre noise. I find there's plenty tyre sound even if this setting is lowered to zero.

Apologies for shaky formatting/writing. I wrote this half asleep after very very long day!

I use tire volume at 8 and track surface at 1.

Good afternoon, my friend. I’ve tried your FFB and it feels very flat, removing the sensations of curbs, bumps, and road texture. I’m sharing this as constructive feedback, encouraging you to keep improving the FFB.

Thank you for your comment, this ffb perhaps isn’t for you.
It is very flat by design, because the road texture makes the car feel floaty in some instances IMO.
The goal is to feel the peak of the grip and tyres, so other sensations are heavily filtered.

E: I revisited the feedback and turns out the road texture was unnecessary filtered.
It's M_smooth_samples which affects peakiness and no need to raise other dampening values. I'm gonna reupload the file with less filtering.
To reduce peakiness, scale down M_smooth_samples.

    Thanks for the feedback!
