I am sad to hear that Daniel. I sincerely hope you can update your files to revised FFB of AMS2. Or are no changes necessary to your files despite the update to the FFB in the game? Out of curiousity what other sims are you using these days?

No changes are necessary to the customs; this has nothing to do with Reiza's new presets. Adjustments only make sense if the vehicle physics change significantly. The customs, top speed 4 and 5, continue to work perfectly and don't need to be changed. Unfortunately, there are some basic settings in Ams2 that I feel aren't working properly. By this, I mean the damping and low-force boost, as well as all sensitivities (throttle, brake, steering). Therefore, it doesn't make sense to adjust the files, as this can change at any time. Furthermore, the customs are already tuned for very low damping and low-force boost, so these anomalies aren't noticeable in the various base settings (DD/belt/gearbox/hybrid). I've also posted recommendations for all sensitivities.

I'm currently very happy with Raceroom. It has improved enormously, and the various cars are a lot of fun. This is, of course, also due to my new VNM base and the ability to work with telemetry FFB. I'll continue to play AMS2, especially older cars and Formula cars, which are excellent in AMS2. However, I'm less into GT cars, especially not GT3, where I think the physics could still be improved. With that in mind, have fun with the various simulations and enjoy your hobby.

Yes, me to. Extreme fun, after 8 Years membership there ;-) But the Damage there is the same ... a Joke. Thats one reason for a specielly driving Style in the Lobbys. ;)
I hope there will come more Realistic in different missing things.

Thank you so much for this file ! The FFB is so good, much better than default/default+. It is much easier to drive a natural line. For me default/default+ is too reactive (countersteering).

File 8 is probably a good match for your wheel.

For a Moza R16, among the files that have configurations for the Moza R16, which one should I choose—are they different?

Does anyone have a setting for simucube 2? I tried the Rfuktor file, we feel more lateral grip but the steering wheel becomes lazy.

After the latest update; the original Default FFB works really well on T300. Lower the FX to 10, FFB (Gain) max 78 or it'll clip (pay attention to the FFB Indicator and the right column/100 should never hit red). Set damper to zero in game and 40% on the base. LFB in game is set to zero for me and never more than 5.
They failed to fix the sliding feeling once again after the last update so I haven't fired it up for weeks. Not feeling the physics at all

I wouldn't necessarily avoid all clipping on a T300, I have clipping when I plough over certain kerbs / crash etc. and then sometimes more continuously in certain high speed / banked corners. If I set everything to completely avoid this the FFB becomes quite anemic.

"I'm Groot." Buddy, it's meant ironically, and it could mean anything, especially in relation to physics and FFB. Hope you're well, greetings from Switzerland ;)

I agree 100%, but only if you have a decent cooling and exhaust system for the base. What I shared was for 99% that are using the base w/o any modifications.
You'll be fine with clipping for 6/7 laps n stuff, but T300 will disappoint you for endurance races like 2 hours of Spa or 15 laps of Nürb if you push it hard. I do clip and the 100% bar on the clip indicator on mine goes up about 25% constantly and I explain why.

I was in China on a business trip 2 years ago and met this guy who owns a Sim Racing club. People pay hourly or have monthly membership to play there. All he had was T300 setup (about 15 rigs) with custom motor that pushed around 5Nm. He was kind enough to give me one without charging me.

I upgraded the motor and had the cooling system already on top. Also, I used an external and stronger power supply he recommended to feed the new motor. The bearings were upgraded to metal ones and the belt tensioner was adjusted. The result is absolutely amazing. It was more of a fun project for me than being a T300 fanboy. I enjoy building things in my garage.

I recently added two more tiny side fans as exhaust with a switch to turn them on and off depending if I do endurance races or just cruising on a highway in my Peterbilt 389 in American Truck Simulator.

I do have DD bases, but I dig the rubber feel of T300. Currently eye balling the VNM base that @Danielkart has been rolling with, but for the time being; T300 is still my favorite base.

Note: The reason why I'm ok with clipping is because I am still using the same chip/processor of the original T300, but the motor is much stronger. The chip doesn't know that so the signal is irrelevant when it comes to clipping. 20251016_100553.jpg 20251016_100505.jpg

That reminds me when I was little I put a load of frog spawn in a washing up bowl and watched as tadpoles appeared, then tiny frogs.
One day I put the them out so they could enjoy the sunshine, checked on them a few hours later and most of them were dead..fried to a crisp on the concrete while trying to escape their prison bowl.
I still feel guilty to this day.

I've made mistakes keeping animals. The key is to learn from it, move on and never repeat the same mistakes.

Mine was a Spadefoot Toad. That bastard was stronger than a Simucube 2 Ultimate and could live anywhere on earth. He liked water so I took him to one of the best lakes on the planet to have a blast for rest of his life.

Yes, it's not wrong to experience slight clipping in some extreme situations.

The VNM base, in my opinion, is in a different league and can't be compared to anything else. It can completely transform a simulation and is capable of doing things that no other base I know of can do. According to the information, the new Simucube3 won't have the potential and capabilities of a VNM. Not to mention the unrealistic price of the Simucube3.

As far da simulations go, I think there's a standstill with physics and FFB. Although physics has become much more complex, new sims haven't gotten any better. This complexity can perhaps be too much; less is sometimes better. Many older sims that were programmed much more simply still set benchmarks in terms of driving feel. The revolutions are more to be found in the hardware. Bases, pedals, motion, VR, powerful PCs, and many other immersive hardware enhance our experience. I think new simulations should focus more on compatibility and the new possibilities of the hardware. I am curious what else will come
