Trueforce effects seem to work with Custom FFB.
Is it possible to expose some adjustable values inside a custom ffb file now?

I confirm that Trueforce works perfectly on my Logitech Pro Racing Wheel.

Hey man, just dropped in to say BIG THANKS for this. I've tried many custom files recently and with the right setting they were all good, but so was defualt+. I think the main issue with AMS2 FFB is the that by default the LFB is set way to high as is the gain, which causes people to assume this is a baseline and then do custom stuff from that point. The game also does not need any FX setting at all. The Raw Rack thing caught my attention because I saw a vid of some guy saying that it's like AMS1 with obvious physics caveats. But I wanted an actual, old-school rFactor feel and that delivered, with maybe some road feel that should not be felt through the wheel. Then I found your file just by browsing the thread, downloaded it and left it till morning to try out. Good thing too, cause had I tried it yesterday evening, I'd have probably fallen asleep at the wheel. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Nothing feels exaggerated, things make sense, feel natural or at least in line with what I'm used to with the ISI-Motor engine sims.

I would not call it ACC lite though. You know what it feels like? Raceroom with the latest physics and FFB shiny things. I love it. IMHO this should be made official or something. I actually don't miss AMS1 now and that is THE sim that taught me to drive vintage F1 and drift.
    My humblest of thanks!

FFB file based on Karsten' brilliant Eddie de Beer Tribute file, edited using a Cammus C5.
With help and advice from GWiz with enabling less force when track is wet.
    Settings in the Cammus software
    Force at 100
    Natural Damping set to 5
    Natural Friction set to 15
Every other setting left at 0
Excepting CF Filter and Q Factor which are both set to 95
The friction setting is very important in order to reduce the oscillation chance.

In AMS2 the settings are Gain at 40 and FX at 20, everything else is zeroed.

In editing this file I have tried to address what I feel is one of the weakest parts of AMS2, Load Transfer.
Unfortunately without changing the physics, there is only so much fudging FFB files you can do to try and
give the feeling of more weight and suspension movement to the cars.
I have changed some of the values to much larger one's in order to get the desired feeling.
It works better with some cars than others.

    GWiz anti-float AMS2 Custom FFB file V1.1

GWiz anti-float Version 1.1 - Added Kart tuning
Version 1.0 had no Kart tuning and the settings for Karts resulted in them being quite undriveable!

Version 1.1 rectifies the lack of Kart tuning of version 1.0.

For all other vehicles, version 1.1 will drive identically to version 1.0.

I've added several extra settings to allow the Karts to be fine tuned to your liking along with the usual descriptions to aid you in knowing what setting to adjust.

Wow you are one amazing group of people! Just reading your interactions is a lot of fun! I just got into AMS2 and absolutely love it. The newest Danielkarts FFB is out of this world and honestly killed every other racing game for me, I just can’t come back to AC or ACC after experiencing such fidelity, and I’m alright with that because I hear that AMS2 is ramping up and here to stay! Thank you Danielkarts, the fact that you have providing detailed settings for my Moza r16 v2 in both pithouse and ingame is an incredible gesture and helps me do more driving than tuning! Also reading some posts here it seems that it would be interesting to try a few more custom profiles… can someone suggest one for my base? I’m tempted to give Karsten a go but afraid that I will mess up the wheelbase pithouse settings and not get a good experience, maybe someone has suggested pithouse settings for latest Karsten custom FFB profile? Many thanks and you guys are true legends!

Thank you for sharing! If I’m switching to another custom ffb profile, would that mandatory require me adjust my ingame and pithouse settings or can they remain the same?

Hi Daniel, please excuse my ignorance, but I have a question. I have a Moza R9 wheel and I’m not sure about the 'Moza Pit House' configuration. Should I leave it with the default factory settings? Thanks in advance and sorry for the trouble—I'm using a translator, so I apologize for any mistakes.

Hi, how do all your Tuner/TrueDrive settings look?

    Your file just mentions:

    # For Simucube 2 Pro 25Nm

    # In Game: Gain 45%
    # LFB 0
    # FX 50%
    # Damping 0

    # Base/ TRUEDRIVE:
    # Overall strength: 100%
    # Steering Range: 900
    # Bumpstop feel: Hard

    Many thanks in advance.

Another Custom File based on my 1st file, which was based on Karsten's 2nd Eddie de Beer tribute file.
    Designed using the same settings

    Settings in the Cammus software
    Force at 100
    Natural Damping set to 5
    Natural Friction set to 15
Every other setting left at 0
Excepting CF Filter and Q Factor which are both set to 95
The friction setting is very important in order to reduce the oscillation chance.

In AMS2 the settings are Gain at 40 and FX at 20, everything else is zeroed.

I have tried to negate the feeling when in oversteer of the steering becoming light when the rear tyres lose grip.
Driving back to back in AMS2 and Assetto Corsa this was one of the most obvious differences.
In AC the wheel becomes heavy as the weight of the car rotates.
In this file the weight on the wheel will increase when in oversteer until much later in the slide.

That depends what you mean by slip? The wheel will feel very different during understeer (heavy/numb) vs oversteer (light) and different again with a neutral 4 wheel drift. It's rare to get a light feel on the steering with a front wheel drive car other than during lift-off oversteer if that's what you mean.

I still try the latest custom ffbs from the community from tim to time but get back to the attached file, even after the default profiles were revised: stock/basic custom from Reiza with zero smoothing and added lock stop. I had to give it 15 LFB from 0 and raise the gain from 55 to 75 to get similar strength and dynamic range as at Reiza defaults, using a simagic alpha mini without any effects/post processing, with wheel rotation speed 50.

    Hey,

I’m glad to hear that someone had similar thinking for ffb and you found it beneficial to you.

    OT:
If you also like the OG Assetto Corsa, dm me and i drop you my custom rack force file for AC.

Hi everyone. A massive thanks to the community here!
I have a question regarding wheel base settings. I would like to try out the FullFFB file by @Joaquim Pereira , one of his recommended wheel base settings is "200–250% Natural Inertia for Formula FSR Wheel" on a Moza R12. I use a fanatec base which has a different scaling system for Natural Inertia (0-100). How would one interpret that setting in Fanatec values?
Somehow all of the Custom files are my favorites, massive thanks to @Danielkart for his wonderful file and guide
