There is no definitive right or wrong answer. However, there are certain things I’ve learned through my experience with FFB—and especially with wheel bases. In your case, I would certainly set LFB to 0, increase FX slightly, and—above all—massively increase the damping. The DD1 is a different story entirely, one I’d rather not comment on anymore.

 

Unfortunately, I cannot offer you precise settings for Reiza’s default profiles across all wheelbases. There are several reasons for this:
1. I don’t like the default profiles because I lack the ability to customize them to my needs, or because major physics changes occur, and because I sense anomalies in the steering axis that I find unpleasant.
2. There is "Default," "Default+," and "Basic Default." This would require tailored in-game and wheelbase settings for three different types. That is impossible—and this is where we end up going down the rabbit hole.
3. It took me years to fine-tune a custom file for all types of systems—gear-driven, belt-driven, hybrid, and Direct Drive (DD) wheelbases. I was only able to do this because I own these various systems; having them made many things possible for me.
4. Given the wide variety of new systems (wheelbases) and the three different default FFB modes, many people describe the experience as "subjective." Yes, it is subjective, simply because there are so many combinations and possibilities. That is precisely why I tuned my solution to a single custom file. I believe that is why it is so popular: it moves away from "subjectivity" and works for 90–95% of users.
5. New technologies are constantly emerging—FullForce, TrueForce, telemetry-based effects, or even pure telemetry-driven FFB. All of these can alter the FFB or require different settings.

People—and game developers alike—do not pay enough attention to these new possibilities, which is why the experience is simply dismissed as "subjective." I disagree with that view.

Default or Default+ has nothing to do with a custom FFB file. You need to switch to Custom FFB in the game settings.
I’d recommend watching a few videos online that specifically explain how to install and activate a custom FFB file. It’s actually quite straightforward once you know how it works.
