All as I can say is "about bloody time". You have put in sooooo much work/effort for Reiza, and for free mind you, that for them to finally talk, that is great. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Can you share your DD1 and Fanalab settings with the latest release, Ill try to test what you have and compare thoughts as well.

i tried to dial .41 in last night but couldn’t quite find the balance of feel.
bumps and kerbs where quite sharp and if i tuned them smoother i felt like i was loosing important road feel.
but my main problem of late is power oversteer. some car exhibit a lot of what i would call torque steer. it feels like front wheel drive torque steering but coming from a rear wheel drive.
the lateral oversteer force’s are fine. it’s when you give to much gas as the car wants to turn you around. it feels odd .
it has a strong resistance to counter steer when i would expect the wheel resistance to decrease in power as you apply opposite lock.
the issue is if i weakened that for the problem cars the better balanced cars then don’t have decent oversteer feel.

    Will try to notice this.
One thing to be aware of is that the first 15 secs or so and also until max lateral force has been reached, the file is scaling the lateral force incorrectly.
Only after the 15 secs and after max lateral force has been hit the first time will it continue to scale the lateral force correctly.
For me it's a matter of the first 2 corners or so.
I am not sure if that is when you experience this issue, but otherwise there are more adjustments required 8)

    well
probably because of tyre temps being lower at start, but it actually becomes more difficult after the first lap. , even in TT mode when tyres are warm to start.
it’s a combination of dodgy physics on some cars , bad diff settings and the forces not dropping off fast enough when counter steering and get off throttle.

    Sure, here's my current settings:

I like to have a bit of dynamic damping as well, especially for the high downforce cars: upload_2021-1-8_22-28-37.png
In-game settings. Gain is adjusted for every car, currently 45 for GT3, 35 for GT1 and 25 for Formula Ultimate. With Karsten's v.41 gain feels a bit high, so I might turn it down a bit more.

    Hey Kuku,

Is there a good car to feel this issue?
Also, is it related to your later comment in another post: "forces not dropping off fast enough when counter steering and get off throttle."?

Probably the v8 supercar with spool diff.
Or if your feeling adventurous the GT5 thing, reiza have messed with it in updates and it’s terrible in default

    Thanks,
also can you describe "forces not dropping off fast enough when counter steering and get off throttle." a little more?
How much too slow is it?

its hard to explain.. but once the rotation force and momentum of that rotation is up to a certain this is not going to end well level there's a pulling me further feel.
I think raising static force reduction helps to make it easier to correct.

Yeah nah, Raising Static force reduction fixes it for sure :)

Kuku i had the same issue with .41 and oversteer. FFB feels quite in grip conditions, but the moment grip is lost in the rear wheels, it is impossible to control it even with the most precise throttle control. But i believe Karsten will iron out this issue very soon.

In the meantime you can raise the static force reduction , which is on zero in the scales in this file.
    Try 0.25 for a start.

I actually wanted to avoid going down that route with the static force reduction as i am not sure how it messes up forces while driving hard on the edge. I believe that this was the reason Karsten set it to 0 in this iteration.

    Hi all.
I know its a bit lazy, but can anyone tell me which file and settings to use for a thrustmaster t500?
New to AMS, and just finding the default ffb lifeless.
I've read through a lot of the thread, but can't find much on the t500
    Many thanks

This is the Best DD2 setting for AMS2 so far that I have tested with all the custom FFB profile out there.
The silver-raw-6.6.5.41 profile gives this jolt or crank bang when you run over curbs. for example in silverstone, it feels like its going to break your internal motor. So the following files are for fanalab and customer fbb in ams. rename "#ffb_custom_settings_detailed" to "ffb_custom_settings" and place it in your ams2 folder.

DD2 Profile and custom setting with in this file. (NuScorpii V2.5 tweaked)

    DD1 Profiles:

    in Game:
    Gain: 30
    LFB: 10
    FX: 30
    Damping: 50

    DD2 Driver 399 beta

    EN - auto
FF - 100 - always use 100 on the wheel
    LIN - OFF
    NDP - 15
    NFR - OFF
    NIN - OFF
    INT - 3
    FEI - 80
    FOR - 100
    SPR - OFF
    DPR - 100
    BLI - OFF
    SHO OFF

edit: Change the kerb bump setting to 0.25 and kerb scale to .6 to eliminate the fanatec DD jolt for the silver raw custom profile.
