Yes, the LFB is great to use, since when used together with gain, you can control how much center fullness & how much max cornering force you want.
It should not make it any more grainy when you lower the gain at the same time or vice versa.
A GT3 car you might want to not have too much force while cornering, so increase the LFB & lower the gain. A Caterham you might want to have more cornering force, since it's non-power steering, so you lower the LFB and increase the gain.
    I hope this makes sense?

    Hi,

You might want. to try .43 MID file with in game settings of around 30/70/70 and increase the rear grip loss value of around 0.7. I have a lesser logitec wheel than you and all cars feel real good.

And this is just the beginning of your collaboration with Reiza ;)... I feel, contrary to the future version of the .45 file, that we have set the velocity_scale of this game even higher!
    Thanks guys

I used the .43 MID file (although almost always in the last series I use the LOW) with game settings slightly different to yours and around 40-50/80/75, moreover, the rear grip loss value usually is septum almost always between 0.5 and 1.0 .... you're right the file feels very good and even your values seem to me consistent with your Logitec wheel which is slightly lower, as I think you like it very light, full in the center and with sufficient effects ... to me also just a little more decisive ... then the sensations are subjective no one is right, at most consistent!

I have a few hours with v.44 now, and it feels great. I can really feel what my tires are doing, and none of the effects are overdone in my opinion. So I am very curious about what you have done to possibly make it even better :)

The easiest way to see what's changed from a new FFB file release, compared to your current FFB file that you're using, is to use the App called Notepad++, with the "Compare" plug-in installed.
Load the two files up, and see them side by side with highlights of what's different between the two. This will really save you a lot of time, and possibly some non-intentional mistakes.

Some last few minor changes. I don't expect to post it today, since it's late & I don't have so much time.

Tried the "Detailed" ffb file and it was a game changer for me.
    Thrustmaster TX settings:
    Gain 55
    LFb 50
    FX 50
    Damping 10

Has been perfect with every car I tried. Thank you so much for this!

Update on ETA for v45: Awaiting last minor value adjustments, not exactly sure when I have them, but then will be posted. It will be worth the wait :)

For me, it is the closest to AMS1 I have found yet. Fantastic job guys. I hope Reiza add your files in game and name them after you. Although "Karsten the Thrustmaster" setting does sound a bit NSFW. :D
