I'm curious why the new NASCAR models are pretty much identical to the real thing, down to the very small details, but the Indycar had to be changed up significantly before being released. NASCAR as an organization seems much more stringent on licensing than Indycar. They have a LOT of IP protections on the NextGen car.

 

These are just a Single model from Nascar, which is Like the real F1 Car in Forza, its possible to have a single Car of a Series, just not more

 

This is the thing for me. I'm not a Nordschleiffer but I still got the 2025 DLC. Probably never going to use the new road cars but I'll still pick it up. With such an enormous range there's something for everyone in AMS2 but not everything will be for everyone.

Another example is the obviously big USA market for this game. For me there are tracks outside of the USA (Brazil is the same thing) which I'd personally rather see but I'm happy to get to know whatever Reiza puts out because it's always such high quality (love Sonoma btw!)

 

Which track pack is Sonoma in? I love that track!

Yeah, it will be a difficult one next year in any case given the uncertainty of the new F1 cars.

Agreed, I'll buy every and any new track that gets released for this game USA, Brazil, Australia, etc.

Sonoma is not currently in the game, my suggestion is it would make a great addtion if released in the future.

 

I've seen bump drafting in multiplayer league races. It works fine if you and your opponents have good ping.
Otherwise, its possible the cars will get stuck together for a bit. Overall the netcode in AMS2 is very good though.

 

Perhaps it is to do with Indycar being a single chassis series whereas Nascar has had multiple manufacturers involved over these generations, some of which now exist only as inactive brandnames e.g. Buick and Oldsmobile. Maybe the IP is with the makers and not the series itself in this case?

Also perhaps the delay in USA pt4 is to do with what went on with the Nascar licence and Motorsport Games, perhaps not. It was said that the same happened when the Indycar licence was also up for grabs and Reiza has negotiations.

 

Can we expect SUVs in the Stock Car series in 2025 or 2026?

 

If the update doesn’t come out by tomorrow, all I got to say is for those that are going to be home during the holidays, enjoy it and post your thoughts over here. Sadly won’t be close to my rig until next year. Thank you Renato and the rest of the team for an incredible year with the game.

 

Can anyone in the beta that tested the Nascar stock cars compare the ams2 version to iracings? Any opinions to how they compare and differ?

 

We aren't able to say really, but even if we were the smarter idea is just to wait until the update comes out and try out the free-trial period. I know this non-answer sucks, but it's the best answer I can give

Maybe I'm also going crazy with this one but.....this kinda looks like Dover or Bristol. At the very least, I can't think of a track in AMS2 with this much banking, plus what looks like a concrete surface.

 

Bristol would be mega, as well as Charlotte

 

Charlotte makes sense because of the Roval layout, it gives the track a use for cars that don't run on ovals. That's why I'd be a bit surprised to see an oval in AMS2 with no road course, but who knows.....
