AMS2 modding seems to be gaining momentum at the moment. I think there is a JGTC mod coming out soon as well.

There are actually quite a lot of PC2 mods out there and as AMS2 gets more popular we might see some new modders starting out by bringing something interesting to them into AMS2.

Where?

 

The Project Cars and KAOS Modding Teams mostly, they both have websites and current projects involving AMS2.

There might be more motivation to keep existing mods current since there is a greater period of stability now between releases.

 

Hope KAOS update their mods

 

I thought there Caper Monterey Stock Car was coming to AMS2 & PC2, was all excited hoping for that and Texas. Dreams were shattered, wish there was more info on "how to", available on you tube.. Future is Bright!

 

There are how-to links on the KAOS website and they'll answer questions on their Discord when you get stuck. For cars at least. I haven't seen anything regarding track mods yet as that's fairly new.

 

That’s a mod that would be worth the hassle! The inevitable Days of Thunder and/or early 90s Winston Cup skin pack would be perfect for this car.

 

I loved the Caper Monterey in PC1. Unfortunately, there were no ovals in the game. I found it very successful for a fictional car.
Hoping that Reiza brings something similar in the future.
The old Brazilian Stock-cars (1979, 1986 and 1999) are in the same spirit but for some reason, there are only 20 liveries. They certainly deserve 30 even basic liveries, we have a magician of Nascar liveries.

Once you have all the files and mod manager setup, re-enabling the mod is literally a couple of mins work. These cars are from as little as £1.99 from VRC. I'm very happy to support them, and would encourage anyone that wants to see modding support in AMS2 to do the same.

Oh, and the new Chevrette is really nice also
