No need of validation. If mods stay active in JSGME but without boot files, multiplayer works. As long as boot files are activated multiplayer menu crash the game...

These crashes with mods enabled are completly random. If someone know how to fix this will be great or even better if Reiza devs gives us more simplier way to install them. Until then we will have these issues.

Remove all mods, add one and one until the problem appears, then you have identified the problem.

Where can we download the "modern" GT1's?

You have to contact the modder directly...

Once you do you'll get a response pretty quickly with the link and you'll also get notifications when updates are released. The Kaos website also linked his YT page on their faq ("where to find mods").

Agreed. I really enjoyed the Radical around Laguna Seca and then thought to myself "why don't I try it out on PC2 as a comparison?" I'm happy to say that the AMS2 version just felt better to me. This could totally be down to setup (default in AMS2, stable in PC2) or FFB (Danielkart V70, raw in PC2), but either way, I prefer driving it in AMS2. I was able to get similar lap times in both titles.

Someone said to dream bigger earlier in this thread but my perfect sim is still just PC2 content in AMS2. My biggest gripe with PC2 was the lack of per-car FFB, the AI not being affected by puddles and no custom championships...AMS2 fixed all that (or is at least still working on improving it).

Looking forward to Reiza's overall improvements and further content from the community.

I'm sure we'll see great things going forward.. Presently, a lot of modders are holding back, because the work to keep the mods updated after each update to the game, is a daunting task. Once Reiza implements proper mod support, where mods don't break after each update, I'm confident we'll see an avalanche of content coming for AMS2. That being said, the present content in AMS2 is so good at this stage, that everybody should be able to enjoy the game for hours on end.

Contacted the modder today, and received a link to the mods very quickly.

If nothing else, this just demonstrates to me the potential AMS2 has if Reiza can find a way to help support and develop modding, while still being able to focus on their core goals for AMS2.
A major hurdle is definitely finding a way to allow custom audio. It lets down some of these mods through no fault of the author.

    Good stuff though!

Is it only me, but the Porsche does have FFB reverse?
    Ferrari is working fine.
And if you have the VRC Mods you have to add them manually.....

But i do love the cars of this (my) era! :)

Do these mods have mechanical and visual damage like the native content?

Of the ones I have tried only the VRC one seems to have mechanical failures. The driveline file in the VRC cars is much more complete than the other mods, dunno if that has anything to do with the mechanical failures.
