Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

From the ones I tried the only one that felt weird was the Ford GT LM, it kindda resembles how it drove in PC2, the GT3s I tried all drove better than their PC2 versions and felt like AMS2 cars.

Ok so i went to install these today and even 7 zip stopped me now saying trojan inside! Why? and why doesn't PCMT have this problem? Surely the modder can remove whatever is creating this "false positive"?? Other Madness engine modders manage to release mods that dont get flagged!!

 

It's a problem with the hosting site and not the modders. It's like the hosting site(s) are hacked and doing this. It's happened with AC mods as well. Try to download again.

 

I keep getting the same this though. Can it be uploaded somewhere else then?

 

I enjoy Radical a lot! I think I can feel every tire in the corners and gives very satisfactory feeling! I think it's maybe best Radical in simracing until now. What I miss is left seated model but that's not an issue.

I installed some PCMT mods today, the Silvia and RX7 along with Sugo. Wow how good are these mods! Amazed pC2 tracks are now coming.

When AMS2 updates do I need to use the installer to remove all mods or just the boot files and does the driveline get changed each update?

I'm goiing to hold off on the other mods and wait for the false positive virus things to be gone.

On Sugo there is like a mesh on the track surface very visible in VR, does anyone know if this is fixable on the user's end?

 

It is some sort of a Moiré effect in case you mean this.
I already asked the guys and they said they are aware of this but cannot tell for sure if they can fix that.

 

Anyone tried the F355 Chalenge from the Thunderflash mod? Man I think it might be the best part of the mod, a blast to drive with manual clutch.

 

Both of the Ferrari's are a joy to drive...

 

Just the boot files. Driveline file may change with updates, but it's inside newer bootfiles. Mods must be deactivated/re-activated when modder give us newer ones, of course.

 

Is there a somewhat convenient way to make Reiza style previews for mod cars that doesn't involve a lot of photoshopping out the background of a screenshot?

I didn't know he was part of the Pcars2 modding team. A quick glance at the credits on the Sugo track mod helped me figure out he was helping with the PC2 ports.

With all the talk of another modder with suspicious downloads (I've dealt with sketchy AC modders in the drift scene before), I was curious who was behind it. Since I know it's the same team that did the other track mods, I don't have a problem supporting/donating. There's nothing wrong with being a bit cautious when it comes to downloading stuff.

I didnt think it was an issue asking if it was possible to be uploaded to another provider! Is it really a cost to upload to Mega instead of Mediafire? or even disrespectful to ask for such a thing? If so i think we have some big problems.
Anyway it seems the modder has figured out the flagged component because the latest version doesn't get flagged now
