Anyone else having issues with the clutch in the trackday Ford GT? I wonder if I messed something up in the driveline file compared to the street car version. One absolutely refuses to launch without burning out the clutch, while the other feels completely normal.

My best bet is to try and continue to nudge people into thinking it's best for an alternate to Porsche Department being set up...

This past week has provided plenty of outraged people on both sides of the modding fence... It runs far deeper than just the Indycar mod... There's been various removals with no solid reason given including a rF1 1951 Formula 1 mod that got taken down yesterday...

We really need a unified resource depositary that is able to have it's pages found through a search engine... So that would throw discord out of the equation...

In this case it's more about me wanting to concentrate on making mods and not moderating...

I have the patience for one and zero patience for the other...

I changed value to 1.3, and they can now race me at 115%. A lot better, thank you. I'll try a couple of different values later.

I've installed a messageboard on a dedicated server, stuff can be linked from there but I cannot host downloading files atm, thats too expensive. The board is found on https://anythingclickable.com Still a work in progress though like permissions and waiting for "https" to come through. But should be working

THE AMS2 SKINNING PROJECT - Discord
has now a MOD section too.
You can discuss, find links to Mod groups and also DL links for mods if modders make entries.
But stay on ground. Hype, hype, hype and toxic comments are not welcome ;)

It's going to get updated again real soon too I would guess seeing as the oval cars testing went really well. :) A great addition to the already spectacular road course cars.

The ovals are still in testing... We've got some things to iron out before we go public...

And we'd like to get all the Indy liveries in there as well...

Wanted to post an update after test driving more of the road cars: The 2006 Ford GT is indeed fantastic! Feels great and very believable - down to the anemic brakes (at least in relation to its engine output). :D

Other cars that I can recommend are the 2018 and 2022 Porsche 911 GT3. The 2018 is rather tame with ABS and TC on, but if you turn them all the way down it is quite vicious. The 2022 version has a more venomous bite in general, but deals better with ABS and TC being turned off.

Last but not least the Ford Mustang GT500 is also a blast to drive - deactivate traction control and you get wheel spin up to 4th gear at least! It's crazy, though only slightly faster (maybe ~1 second per lap on an average track?) than the vanilla Chevrolet Camaro, despite having an advantage of more than 300 HP power-wise.

Either way, I am happy to report that these cars feels much better than I remember them from, well, a long, long time ago. Quite similar to Reiza's cars (and in some cases even better). All that's missing to perfection is the ability for modders to add their own sounds to cars.

I have a question about AMS2 Updates. Before installing an update, do I have to De-Activate all mods, or just the bootfiles? Thanks guys.

It would prevent any possible issues occurring...

Although I know people who swear that nothing happens...

Sorry to ask this question but what does "disable a mod" mean?
What should I do if I used AMS2 Content Manager to install mods?
The procedure is different if I installed mods without AMS2CM?
I'm a rookie when it comes to mods.
