Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

Just updated the game and new bootfiles, and i seem to have no driver body in the mod cars (in VR if it makes any difference)?
Original content seems fine.

 

that's right. mods need to be updated to adapt to the changes.

 

Same issue, it does look odd specially on the f-indy cars

Doesn't bother me all that much on closed cockpit cars but still its odd

anyways at least i can play with mods on sudscheife now

 

BTW does the drivers also disappear with the JSGME installation or only with CM?

 

The game updated driver files so it doesn't matter how you install bootfiles. All cars will be missing drivers until we update them.

 

Can modded tracks work with this mod (v2.8)? anyone tried it?

 

I tried the group 5 cars around Brno. Works perfectly.

 

Weird. Game keeps crashing for me when loading Brno or Sugo.

 

I must say, I'm not that much of a fan of the Group 5 cars. I tried them all for a few laps around the Nürburgring GP circuit, and some of them have some weird behaviours that I'm not so sure about.

For example, the BMW has very light steering, the Nissan has very heavy steering. The Ford Capri still spins his wheels a bit in 3rd and sometimes even 4th gear, which I don't think it should do. The Porsches I like the most out of the bunch as I think they are very believable, although in the 935/77 the stock gear ratios are way too long. All in all it seems relatively inconsistent and in need of further refining and they all suffer from the impossibility of adding custom engine sounds to the engine.

The KTM crashes my game as soon as I want to save a setup.

 

Funny how we all differ,I think the differences in the group 5 cars are great,had some great fun racing these this morning.Really appreciate all the effort the modders are making with Ams 2.

Yeah I find this too.
Also some of the other cars also feel different, harder to turn etc

 

Thunderflash already released new bootfiles and a hotfix for the 2.8 version of his mods. Wow!

Guess I know what I'll be doing tonight.

 

Unfortunately tried the new bootfile, but dont work
I activate the mods but the next one seems to undo the previous one.

 

The boot files from Thunder Flash for the current build that was released today works for me.

 

Only 2 things you need to check after an update and you have copied in the new bootfiles:
1. Physicspersistent.bff under pakfiles is deleted
2. Bootflow.BFF under pakfiles has been replaced. This new file is always the same in the bootfile releases, and is only 3mb in size.

 

That's all very nice with the mods but so far I haven't found one that can keep up with the cars from Reiza.and gives me lasting fun.too much grip ffb strange to much too strong or too easy.I'll stay with Reiza,maybe there will be something from the 70s.

 

That what's so great about this hobby.. You do exactly as you want.

 

Does the small update affect the mods ? I’ve just installed the bootfiles and have everything working but wondering what will happen after the small update
