Just drove Rouen in Porsche cup car - brilliant experience

 

Have these converted tracks had any modifications done to them so they have AMS2 features in them, if there is such a thing or are they in their PC2 format but changes made so they work in AMS2?
Not even sure if I am making sense, lol.

They are basically as-is conversions, from my experience, some features work, most don't.
For example real weather doesn't work obviously, but the weather effects on the road do work, as well as the track progression. However, you don't see the visual wet road, just the spray from the tires.

The AI is also sketchy as they warn on the download page. Lots of crashes and they are quite slow.
You have to disable penalties and on some the damage as well, due to the cars flying and bouncing when exiting the pit garages. Mind you I haven't tested all tracks, just Sugo, Brno, Fuji and Rouen, with Sugo being the standout because it has very few issues.

So as you can see lots of issues, but very enjoyable to drive with AMS2 cars all the same.

 

I’m using the GT3 cars from Thunderflash and wondered two things .
1. Has the Corvette gone ? Seems to be missing now.
2. I’d like to run the modded gt3’s with gte and dpi but it doesn’t seem to work from me is it possible ?

 

If you reduce your total classes to 91 or 92, does it work then? I was getting white squares and duplicates until I experimented yesterday with lowering the number of active mods (there are 79 default from Reiza). Not sure if it's universal or just on my end but maybe you can try that and let us know?

Yeah, but it's only available in the ADAC GT Masters GT3 class.

did you edit something or use the original files by thunderflash?
or downloaded it from other sites?
edited copies are going round on the net, sometimes adding problems.

 

Fantastic! I was planning to request it since it's such a great track for vintage cars of which AMS 2 has many.

 

Original files by thunderflash , Not sure what I did to lose it but I uninstalled the mod and then reinstalled through CM and it’s back again.

 

The Ferrari SF-23 has found it's way into AMS2!
Don't mind the white Color, and some missing stuff. This will be added over the next few days!

Gorgeous car! Are you doing the physics/performance yourself or it's gonna use the same as the F-UltimateG2?

 

The physics will probably be modified formula ultimate gen 2 physics

 

Yeah it's going to be changed, at least so that the Car can do the Laptimes it can do in real life and not faster than the current Gen 2.
