Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

Wanted to acknowledge and praise the in car and external sounds some of the newer mods have. Mods like the GT3 mods in Thunderflash's pack and others. They sound so much better than any of them sound in Project Cars 2 even though they are using the SMS platform. Not yet at Assetto Corsa level of accuracy and immersiveness but they will probably only get better with time.
Bravo Reiza and the modding community.

Can I ask why we need to disable automatic game updates with cm?

 

You probably don’t need to, but it is just a precaution. I don’t disable that and I have no issues

 

To be more cautious of issue that may arise. You may have issues or not but as was with JSGME, there were times where not disabling mods before an update meant that you had to do a file integrity check due to issues. Disabling mods before an update is just a precaution.

 

Thanks all. I'm currently re installing all my skinpacks which is turning into a proper ball ache due to the incorrect file structure in the zips. But it'll be worth it going forwards I hope.

I added 2 cars
-The Honda NSX GT3 in the GT3 class
-The BMW V12 Lmr in LMP900 Class
His 2 cars are of course conversions of Project cars 2
Among the new features, I added 4k liveries for all GT3s as well as for the Ferrari 355 and the Toyota GT-one
Mod cars that are added to existing classes (GT1, Group C and GTLM) are differentiated into a sister class.
I added the excellent addon NAMES+AI - Thunderflash Mods v0.83 in the archives

 

So the way I'm having to get some skinpacks to install is to unzip, then extract the folders from the automobilista2 folder, delete the empty ams2 folder, re zip and add to the enabled folder. Is this what you guys are doing?

 

You are much better off installing the skin packs manually. Just copy the folders in the custom livery folders and that's it.

 

Wish I'd known that before because that's what I did originally.
The instructions said to remove any custom files before running cm for the first time, maybe I read it wrong.

If yes, I would be curious to know how much would someone be asking to do a generic Nascar Truck.

Looks like a couple of extra GT3 cars on the way including a VIPER omg

 

Wonder if that means that we might get extra GTE’s too

like the GTE viper, the Aston from Pcars 2 and the Ferrari
