Proper pumped for these additions for personal reasons. I currently drive an F Pace and have previously owned a mkiv Supra TT and then one of my favourite cars of all time is the Viper. Definitely giving him some beer tokens for this mod

Trying Content Manager for the first time for some liveries, once I remembered the NET file to download it seems to be working well :D

It worked, though with the time taken it's probably easier to do skins manually and leave CM for cars/tracks. Excellent job though <3

    Startline chaos!

Was this with original cars, or modded cars?
Can you reproduce it, or was it a one time ocurrence?
    Was damage enabled in settings?
How many cars in the race?
Anything else you can think of?

As much as I like and appreciate the mod cars…the mod tracks leave a lot to be desired in my opinion: last time I tried them the road surface felt flat like a pancake and then there are issues like invisible bumps in the pitlane (or closed garages) or not working penalties etc. I know that this is a lot to demand and it's probably a sh*tload of work to convert them…but nevertheless, I rather do not use them.

Have you ever heard of Assetto Corsa? If you like announcing to everyone that you're not going to use their mods, BOY do I have the platform for you! You are in luck.
There's this thing called full encryption and that will set you off to the races. Go get em!

By all means, that is your prerogative!
We do the best we can with the tools available to us.
That's what is great about free content, you can try it for free, if you don't like it, nothing lost.

We are pretty open about what works and not, so some of your grievances are well known.
Try out azure coast if you want lots of road texture.

Holy shiat some sensitive human beings here. :D Sorry I dared to say something critical about mod tracks in AMS2. @Beezer215

For the record: I have probably +1000 hours in AC and love the modding there. Of course there's also light and shadow.

I think what made people react was you saying an opinion without there being a discussion. People might think that you just wanted to be heard

It doesn't bother me one bit if you use them or you don't.

I thought a forum is a place where you can share and talk about things without them being asked in the first place. That's what I did. I saw the amount of mods already available for AMS2 (in such short time) and noticed that there is a discrepancy in quality (which probably is to be expected when comparing car and track mods as tracks are more much larger). Nothing more nothing less. If you feel butt-hurt because of that.....well. Perhaps a place of communication is not for you, Beezer.

It was just a joke. Again, no butt-hurt. All good. Do I wish the tracks worked better? Yes I do. But until Reiza gives us any ability to fix or learn how to fix in the first place, some of the issues, all we have is the ability to make a track from PC2 work in AMS2 as is.
I did take your advice though. I set up some trauma and communication counseling. I start hour long sessions next Tuesday. I'm a little worried at how quick they were to take my money. We'll see if they work though.

See, just jokes. didn't really mean any harm. we're all here to have some fun

When you post something on the internet (just like with the AMS 2 track mods) you're opening yourself up to criticism. If people don't agree with what you have to say, them stating that doesn't make them sensitive. Infact all it was a meh joke about Assetto Corsa that I dont quite understand and someone who literally said:

I can kinda see the first one being a bit sensitive, but the second person (who seems like worked on the project) responded in a respectful way and took it on the chin. That's what we want, people having an open and honest discourse. Not making jabs at other sims, not complaining about people being sensitive, but open and honest criticism. Just like how I think your OP was perfectly fine and will openly state that, I don't see why you wouldn't acknowledge Rocky replying with respect and tact. It's silly stuff like this that leads to forums becoming toxic waste dumps.
