Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

How did you do the car physics?

The car physics will be the same as the Formula V10 Gen2 at first and when all cars are together it will be changed so that it fits to the cars. For example the Renault will be strong in the corners and Ferrari on the straights. Tomorrow I will spend the day to get the Ferrari running in AMS2.
Oh and I probably have some people who want to test it in my SemiSlickRacing Community.

 

I really envy whoever will test it.
But I understand from your passion that there will be some amazing cars coming to AMS2

Thank you! I still have 2 2023 cars on hold and some other legendary cars I want to do in the future if the time allows it. But for now I'm concentrating on the 2006 cars which are a lot of fun.

Indycar mod is made from scratch. Not sure about VRC's but I think also are. Not sure either about inmotion revolution model, but mechanics at least should.

Most mods are ports, but not all of them.

 

well, seems like nobody made the most important question so I gotta do it

since it’s a 2006 mod which team are we getting out of the former 2005 Jordan squad? The Midland Russian team or the Spyker team with their gorgeous orange and silver livery (please be the spyker please be the spyker)

 

It's based on the Brazilian GP so spyker. But I will likely put different liveries in it so Midland as well

i watched the guy from vrc streaming, he said he would love to make more ams2 mods but its too difficult without the right tools. he said he's waiting for Reiza to provide them with those tools and that they are the only ones who can.

on their youtube channel in the live tab you will find past streams. its mentioned in a little q&a he does at the end of the formula NA community race. he said he made the audi just to showcase their capabilities but to get the most out of the cars they need more tools. Also we should turn up to the next community race he does and show our love.

He also said he could speak about ams2 for hours so maybe Dustin could pick his brains and found out something useful

 

Looks like the Ferrari has a stick shift on the right hand side?

 

Maybe it's for brake balance? Or a secondary sequential shifter in case the paddles fail?

EDIT: Brake Bias is indeed most likely. From what I can gather, all brake operations up to a certain year had to be operated in a purely mechanical manner, so no buttons or dial on the steering wheel. Michael Schumacher was also known to adjust his brake balance for every single corner on some tracks, which is why people noticed him constantly fiddling with the lever in onboard footage.

Err, fiddling with the lever... That sounds kinda dirty when taken out of context.

 

It's indeed the brake bias. Over time I will add more stuff to the cockpit. I'm currently in the process of bringing it to AMS2.
