I was hoping maybe here because I was trying to get to thunderflash's discord server. However, that didn't work before

 

It was a tongue-in-cheek response, hence the emoji. Sorry, I have no confirmation of this and further replies suggests it was just a coincidence. But, unless Reiza purposely blocked the mods, which they did not, we can hope it isn't too difficult to restore the sounds. Any solution should work across-the-board since the problem affects every car.

 

Our favorite Modder has updated all his Mods .

Not all, unfortunately. He wasn't able to do his GT3 Unleashed Mod, as far as I know. Unless they are all back there individual Classes as it used to be.

 

I installed many the mods using the AMS2 Content Manager. The tracks are working fine, but none of the car has sound. Did I miss a step? I have 2 sound cars and AMS2 is installed on D: drive, would that create such issue?

Is anyone working on the Kaos mod fixes ( After indycar23 ) like F196 ? seems theres been no updates there for many months

 

I have created temporary placeholder sound files (from Thunderflash's Porsche GT3 Mod) for Robillard3381's - Porsche 992 GT3 Cup Mod - Skins - Porsche Carrera Cup Series 22/23 which can be access via MediaFire

The sound files go in Automobilista 2\Vehicles\porsche_992_cup folder

 

Won't work for me. Still no engine sound.

1. The author of this mod is Robillard3381; not Thunderflash.
2. I think it would be polite to exercise patience and give the creator time to update his mod himself.

 

Usually, that would certainly be the preferred thing to do; however, Fred’s professional commitments have changed and he has made it clear he will have less time to devote to AMS2. Moreover, he is essentially encouraging other modders to help update or improve his mods as needed.

 

Right, but I did state in point 1 that Robillard3381 is the creator of this particular mod, and not Thunderflash/Fred.

 

Do you think, given Robillard3381's position, he will update his mods?
