The Wheelbase is a Fanatec but the Wheel is from Pokornyi. It get‘s detected after adding the udev-Rules but it can‘t connect, so i am not able to configure the leds and the Dashboard.

I also couldn't find a substitute for Fanalab or the Fanatec app to control force feedback details like maximum torque. With "Oversteer," the steering lock could only be set to a fixed value, whereas the automatic setting works perfectly in conjunction with Fanalab or the Fanatec app on Windows. While the force feedback itself works, it can only be adjusted via the in-game options in AMS2.

Setting things up on Windows is already complex, and it doesn't seem to get any easier on Linux. For instance, if you own more than one (Fanatec) steering wheel—which is the case for me—you need the "Control Mapper" to configure the buttons, since "Button 1" on one wheel corresponds to a different function than on the other. Matters are further complicated by the fact that, without the Fanalab drivers, SimHub detects only a single (identical) wheel and cannot distinguish between the Formula and WRC wheels. However, the new Fanatec hub I need to use the Pokornyi wheel only works with the new Fanatec app; with Fanalab, I get absolutely no force feedback. o_O

As with everything in life, nothing is perfect.

I have the same problem with the Moza Steering Wheel, all Works perfectly, but i can not to make work the leds in the Wheel but in the dashboard of the SImHub works perfectly the leds

    Edit :

For Moza there is this a Program, and works all, included the leds in the wheel, but with AMS2 i do not get to send it the leds to the Wheel

Watch that i found for Moza for now :

    https://github.com/giantorth/AZOM

I go to search for Fanatec this program, because it's the solution for us

    Edit 2 :

The new Fanatec app works in Wine ?

    Edit 3 :

I found this for you :

    https://github.com/kelchm/FanaBridge

what does platinum denote? is the best?
I have an Accuforce v2 and was surprised to see it in the list and even more of that rating if it is what I think. I did not expect to see the SimXperience wheel. does this mean the Sim Commander software runs on Linux too?

Finally SimHub works 100% on Linux with AMS2 and Moza Steering Wheels :

You have to install this that install SimHub :

    https://github.com/srounce/linux-simracing-utils

Then, You have to install this in SimHub :

    https://github.com/giantorth/AZOM

    :)

Did you test FanaBridge ? it works for your Wheel ?

I installed the Plugin but i had no luck with connecting the Wheel in Simhub.

How do you managed the usb pass-through to Simhub?

With UDEV rule (having the driver installed, try "lsusb" for to see if the driver is installed and the info for the UDEV rule)

Also you have to setup the device into SimHub

A chat came up on Discord about a new release of SteamOS 3.8.10 and how it is supposed to have a more generic support for gaming hardware and Steam themselves want users to try it on their own spec pc boxes. Have you looked at this @Cyneo ?

Something seem to realy messed up. I wasn't able to througput any USB Device into SimHub so i removed the directory and made the installation via the linux-simracing-utils. Then i installed the Wine stagging as you mentioned to solve the WPF Problem but i am still not able to pass any USB Device into Simhub. I don't know why the udev-rules no longer work. I could install the fanatec plugin but without a connection to my wheel and now i am no longer able to activate the control mapper plugin within Simhub, it is not been showing.

Then i quit, because i don't know where all the problems are and it's disapointing if something does not work anymore if you just reboot the pc.

I've found that if I restart the PC with the steering wheel connected, the system retains the connection port, and that's the port used to connect the UDEV rules. But if I restart the computer and disconnect the steering wheel, SimHub doesn't recognize it. Is that what's happening to you
