Brake pedal deadzone definitely works as I’ve used it the past few days as my pedal won’t completely zero and I can see it does now in the hud so until I can strip it this was the quickest solution.

 

Micheal. I am using custom ffb rack force.

i havent tried wheel deadzone on default ffbs. I wonder if its like you say that wheel deadzone has a side effect when using a custom ffb.

It does however make a difference for sure, bug or not i can’t comment on.

 

Thx for this tip! The F3 never felt so unstable on cold tires and i never felt heat up so pronounced! This was really worht it!

 

So, for Default+, it simply ruins the intended lively FFB by dampening it artificially near wheel centre.

For your custom file it improves the feel. I think I know where the issue lies.

But still very strange that it is labelled and described in the tool tip as a traditional dead zone, but clearly is not that.

 

IIRC, some custom-ffb files have altered "Tightening" near center, perhaps it has the effect of compressing the signal near center (like LFB?) and increasing the dead-zone is relieving some of that compression.

 

I am using Default+....

 

Likely with sub-optimal FFB settings for your hardware, or, you just happen to have a peculiar preference. I already said it's just a game, so do whatever feels good or helps you have fun, but removing FFB can't help unless it's a band-aid to redress some other issue.

I'm useing default+.Tested that "DeadForce" thing It does nothing or at leat it gets more worse.
FX on 100,nah...don't like it too much.
For my wheel is LFB 5 FX 50 Damping 50 total ok.

 

I purchased the All Inclusive Bundle for SP Owners in February 2024. Are the 3 new DLCs included in that Bundle?

I've updated AMS2 to the current version, and I don't have access to the new DLCs when I load the game.

 

No, but i believe if you purchase that same all in one pack again, it deducts the stuff you already own, and give you a certain % off for that DLC

 

In the presets I can't see specific IMSA preset Championship. Is that correct or am I missing something?

 

The championship preset will come in a future update.

 

Anybody else getting worse VR performance since the 1.6 update ? Especially online. For example "Sebring Club", Turn 5 with the Caravans the framerate drops through that corner by like half.

 

I did but I was also running with the default max cars in the category which is now much bigger so my guess it was that. If I lower the number of opponents its very similar.

 

Hello, I just bought the "IMSA Track Pack" DLC, it also appears on Steam as "Already in your library". Unfortunately, the purchased tracks do not appear in the game. What could have gone wrong and what can I do to fix the problem? I have already checked the Steam files and restarted several times.

 

I bought the same bundle just before the release of the new DLCs. Now, the new DLCs are added to this bundle and I can rebuy it and a lower price , excluding the content of it, I already have and all 3 new DLCs at discount price of 15% - 30euro, which is good deal.

 

Happily found Mosport yesterday, now I can't, any explanations ?
