Automobilista bug report thread (Please read the opening post)

v1.3.0:
Track & Layout Used: Boxer and Montana - Adelaide (so far)
Report: game crashes while loading a race weekend with 20 AI. It takes a really long time (up to 5 minutes) and then windows says AMS stops responding.
Already did a integrity check. Game took a while in test session, but it finish load eventually in this case.

Update: problem seems to be happening with skinpack mods. Original series Boxer Cup and Montana works well. But "Boxer Cup Australia" and "F1BC Montana" (both found in RaceDepartment) presents the above problem. I start to consider that some new parameters may be added in SRS or VEH files, and these skinpacks may need some update in order to work. To be checked.

Report: Every time you approach the pit entrance you get a yellow flag caution only when AI are being used, in private practice it's fine.

Report: Car has no power, it revs to max fine in neutral but then you select 1st and it just bogs down and cuts out. All other cars ok.

Report: As soon as the safety car went on track in the middle of the race, the 3rd driver in the line (therefore, in the 3rd position) was able to pass everyone (including the safety car) and even to pit without any penalty. He didn't even got the message showing "Stay behind John Doe", for instance.
Steps to reproduce: Overtake any cars/safety car when in behind the safety car in a mid-race yellow flag race.

Since the update the Boxer Cup is overheating very easily and you can't open the radiator. Either the radiator remains static but needs to be more open by default or it needs adjustment switched on.

Also the amount of fuel it uses per lap seems very low. Typically 1L per lap.

Desperate to run a race in the new Boxer as it's sublime with the re-engineering you've carried out but the overheating issue is a problem on all but the fastest tracks. After 5 laps on Adelaide it was hitting 130 degrees and I doubt would have went much longer without blowing.

UPDATE: The brake temp effective range is HUUUUUGE - can take the brakes up to well over 1000 degrees with no brake fade and the DYnHUD brake temp widget I use shows it to have an unusually large green zone (like 2-3 times bigger than any other car).

Report: Car/track select menu shows wrong layout (last chicane is fast instead of slow)
Steps to reproduce: Go to car/track select menu and choose Buenos Aires Circuit No. 6

Report: Boxer Cup have 23 cars and drivers, but series only allow 21 opponents. It should be 22, in order to use all cars.
Steps to reproduce: Click in Boxer Cup logo, wait it for highlight, and then go to Single Player. Count the cars, theres's 23. Now set opponents number, the maximum will be 21.

Applicable Settings: offline championships
Report: when start an offline championship there is only 1 opponent, doesn't matter if there are 30-20-10 opponents selected.
Steps to reproduce: select a series, create the championship.

 

When i start up the game and go to controls page for the first time and click ''load''
under ''presets'', without using the navigation arrows beforehand, the game doesn't load the preset
that's between the navigation arrows. In my case i've got the arc camaro preset.

It seems to load the one i used in the last session, before exiting the game.
I need to switch to the next preset on the list and back to the arc camaro preset and then click load for it to take effect.

Report: I keep finishing last.
Steps to reproduce: Start driving.

Report: The ARC Camaro has no external low RPM power sound (just above idle, 2000 - 4000 RPM). Thanks in advance.

 

Also, color scale for brake temps are off. Maybe tyres as well, but I didn't pay attention to them.

Report: 1L/ lap; Option to increase fuel consumption (x2, x3, x4, x5) does not work; Engine temp very high (radiator size locked at 1) = >120°C in 5, 6 laps.
Steps to reproduce: drives the car and views the DynHud telemetry.

I was hopping we could get some "factory" setting, with a disconnection between driving aids (from game menu) and electronic aids (from car setup menu). Something like what we can have in Asseto corsa.

Report: Never had any performance issues with AMS but I've been encountering bad stutters on certain sections of the Adelaide track. On the modern track my frame rates are fine until I get to the Dequetteville & Mistral Hairpins. My frame rate will drop into the 40's & 50's during a race at these two points. The Adelaide 88 track is worse. I encounter bad stutters around a majority of the track.
