Are these supposed to race one another ?
Any news about the ghost car and when the "Official Servers" will come online?
Hope AMS can be fluid again in the 1.0 version.
Game is not smooth no matter the fps you run. It was fixed in the first patch after EA release but after that the issue came back. (Not FFB related, that one was fixed indeed. This happens with the AI driving, with or without plugins running)
About "legendary track" DLCs...
No hope for a Spa, Silverstone, etc version of it?
What driver gfx setting u running will?
Recommended by Reiza, it's the same thing with or without it any card options
I used to use sparse grid in inspector but with particles it totally tanks in fps. Even dsr with any aa tanks in particles. Might or might not help
I use AMD tho, as I said with or without stuff managed by card driver result is the same, SCE was not like this and AMS ran fine after the first update, then the issue came back and was never fixed again.
amd can you enable LOD clamp? just interested?
Forgive me my question: what is LOD clamp? Clearly I have no Idea about graphics setting etc...
im no expert but I know that if you can clamp the negative bias. It can stop the shimmering white lines appearing on movement of visuals. (track lines in AMS) This cant be rid by simply adding AA although it can dissipate the effect. There was a NVidia (as they banned the use of clamping in theor GPU control panel) clamp patcher that fixed this issue, but not sure it doesn't work with latest GPU drivers.
In rf2 player file there is a line that can fix this too, although I think its more of an issue with older games. The parameter is texture sharpening and can be set to off.
Also in NVidia inspector you can enable an AA setting called sparse grid super sampling, which does the same thing as the patcher almost. But it drops fps badly when theres particles on the screen, and ams there is a lot of dust and smoke. Even on a gtx970+ i7 I cant run thise AA at healthy fps. Especially with the vintages that seem quite fps hungry compared to the rest of the cars. Another alternate is DSR x4 with full AA although that's cant be kept at good fps either. The clamper was the only way to keep normal aa at normal resolution and have hardly dropped frames without shimmering lines!
Possible in regedit I think
Btw @Renato Simioni small suggestion (?) add a "Drivers to your cars" audio when session change to race please. Would be very usefull online.
Interesting idea... what do you have in mind? Like a message in the message center? Or something that sounds like an announcement while you're in the garage waiting, just before the qualifying/warm-up session ends? Is this a problem with people going afk while waiting for the session to start or something? I just want to understand this a little better since I have some ideas that I've been working on.
Just for curiosity... Imola 70s style is the fast track pre '73 or post 73 with chicanes?
Hi all, some info on the date of the official release of the final 1.0 version ?
It's for when session change to race (those seconds you have to click Drive), we added a 2 minute warm up so people won't miss the start but it still happens. Even I once missed a race start because I was doing last second adjustments to the setup and didn't notice when session changed from Warm Up to Race so I think an audio to warn the session moved to Race would be mega usefull
Cool, that makes sense.
Any update on the v1.0 update release?
I think is near to be released...they are too quite here on the forum...
@DaVeX You are probably right but maybe everyone is at the Olympics, the crowds could certainly do with the boost.
