Automobilista - June Development Update

I'm assuming the several Caterham models bit means there'll be both road and track versions in there. I'm hoping it's not just different versions of the Seven and we get an Academy or Superlight in there as well.

 

I wonder if they'd be interested working with the modding community and getting map put out faster, For example we already have a beautiful Sebring map, maybe that could be included in some kind of United States pack with Mid Ohio, Lime Rock and Road America. Would love to see Prototype lites also

Nice, but I wish this was added by Reiza and set to ON by default, would make public servers a lot better. Even in forums where people discuss more modding it's comon to see people that has no clue about the spotter...
But please add yellow flag and full course yellow support

Yeah I'm not trusting Dyn at all anymore (and I'm not sure they'll be able to make it stable) and that sucks because it looks good and I need the fuel per lap info.
But anyway a 1st party spotter is a must if there is this much investment on the multiplayer IMO

 

VirtualXperience question:

Will there be more detailed laptime info available eventually ? Sector splits, for instance.

 

I have mixed feelings about DynHud...
At this time of development it looks ugly and a bit cluncky, but I hope will be a more polished and better looking products.
We have a lot of beautiful huds wich can be taken as example...

 

great update just two questions:
- is there going to be official support to gamepads (at least X360 and X1)?
-why those exhausts on the wannabe Eagle not mean to sound harsh but they kinda ruin the charm of the car

 

Oh my God it's an Eagle.

I was not prepared for that at all. I was expecting a Lotus 49 as an obvious choice, but then Reiza don't really do obvious choices. Excellent news guys - and Brands and Oulton will be superb places to drive it! And Cadwell... Well, the FVee should just about fit around there!

Good stuff, really looking forwards to all of this.

 

It's amazing to get all this great new stuff in addition to all the content we already expected from the crowdfunding campaign.

I like small prototypes like the Metalmoro, so I'm happy to hear about the S2000 car. But with the Caterham license, any chance we will get the SP/300.R in AMS? For the short time I played pCars that was one of my favorites. But pCars annoys me, I don't play it anymore, so I'd love to see the SP/300.R in AMS.

Formula Vee will be epic around Cadwell, but so will the Mini, Lancer RS, Copa de Marcas, Superkart, and the new S2000 car. I'm not including the Caterham 7 in this list because I've always found that car to be difficult to drive.

 

Sexy selection of delightful caterhams. Most fun you can have with your backside in your computer chair and a steering wheel in your hands! Excellent selection of cars. Bravo!

There are profiles for both those gamepads in the game already. No rumble effect though that you get in R3E, AC or Pcars.

 

@Woodee i wish but alas it is a real life photograph, not the car they are developing which has some pretty ugly exhaust pipes instead
