How does the Formula Vee rate in comparison?
20kmh slower and a lot more sensitive to lift off oversteer.
Pikes Peak should be a nice addition but the old one in this case.... with the sun in your eyes
Amazing news! Thank you for the update!
The animated arms will be great in the new cockpits.
Any idea on when they will be added?
If the last of the legendary race tracks is Pikes Peak (certainly legendary in my eyes) it'd certainly have the 3 layouts it has (tarmac, mixed, full gravel) in pretty much every game now. If its a street circuit though things become harder to think about. I doubt (and personally wouldn't want) Monaco, but Long Beach or Surfer's Paradise? Those are the only 3 street circuits you could put the legendary tag on.
Also, I just noticed more dirt stuff is coming and thank god for that. Rallycross has really felt like an afterthought in AMS since the initial beta.
Is anyone else happy the dreaded achievements have been delayed, or am I on my own.
Formula Trainer to Formula Vee is an enjoyable progression from a car that is easy and fun to drive to one that demands a little more care and understanding of momentum and weight transfer. Both are great but one after the other is even better.
And when the Vee chucks me into the trees for the hundredth time, I can return gratefully to the Trainer.
You're on your own
Why dreaded? When they come, I'll have much more stuff to do and I'll be pretty happy.
While I have a much different idea of achievement personally, I'm fine with Steam achievements for one reason and that reason is that Reiza cares about fun and I'll gladly take the bad with the good as long as they keep generating so much fun. Of course I'm not saying I'm against Steam achievements either, but even I was, I'd still prefer for Reiza to continue to be in the driver's seat because they are doing such a great job pleasing so many people in such a diverse community.
Nice content announcements
Don't forget the game that make it useable ....
Do the official servers get a Schedule and a queue?
Any change the Ghost-car will happen?
And please don't forget to fix the delta bar
All the so called fun you can have with achievements you can generate yourself; why do you need them; except for an ego trip maybe.
Fortunately I think Reiza are writing the achievements, so they should be sensible at least.
Its for the same reason we have a leaderboard for hotlapping. Its a thing to do that's competitive and goal oriented. Establishing a list of goals people can seek to achieve is something to do.
If Reiza wrote their achievement list out on the forums and you didn't get an in game update to tell you you achieved it would you be so salty about them?
I don't even want them to be sensible. I want a bunch of rad challenges I wouldn't think to do normally, or stuff that happens accidentally but is kickin' rad like landing on top of another Super Truck after a jump. I'm not a fan of achievements that are just stuff I'd do anyway.
actually the ladder usually is vee to formula fords, rarely the other way around.
gotta get one of my friends who've actually driven a pinto ford (aka the novice trainer) on avons at the FF festival @ brands a go on this thing and see what he thinks.
Thank you, I didn't know that. For once, I'm glad that I'm just a simracer and not the real thing because that order of cars would have me helicoptered out of Brands Hatch in an air ambulance and my car swept into a dustbin.
Please, you said "things change", can you change them???
Please, not Aussie but Legend!!!!
These cars are more good looking than aussie ones...
I wonder if we'll see a VW Beetle with a huge engine sticking out of the back of it...
Why not both? I watched little Aussie beasts race one day and it was EPIC. Onboard cam shows how much work driver does and there's constant action on track. Would be very sad if Reiza changed their plans for ARCs...
yeah I hope they don't change, the Aussie Racing Cars are fun to watch and should be great in game.
