I asked them by twitter about a week ago and got no reply.

I don't even have beta installed, I just like to play the full release...
But where is it!?

 

As far as I know you must have the full final release, if you are playing the sim'.
If you are talking about the "Brit' Pack" this is a DLC to be made available, they said, sometime this week.
I am lucky I backed the funding; so get the DLC's in the Beta and for free.

There is some confusion here,
I was personally talking about the Brit Pack, yes.
I also paid for the beta access and discounted DLC package.
I wasn't sure whether to pay for it, since I have no interested in the beta and dev acess etc.
I just wanted the DLC.

I did tweet about the release date of the Brit Pack but got no reply
Seems a tad delayed.

This game is possibly the best game I've ever played, and the admins here are pretty helpful.
I just was getting a bit frustrated having to search for info about the release date, which seems to keep getting a little delayed..

 

The delays have happened due to the DLC integration with Steam, as Renato has mentioned couple times in the forum.

The Beta is on version 1.0.9 with the content for the Brit Pack.

 

I have heard the words "This Week" for a few weeks now
Might have to cancel our online brands hatch race for the third time

 

So in other words, seems like v1.1 is still a long way off then?
Would just be nice to be kept in the loop even if you are not a backer........

 

There is usually a bit of a "quiet" period right before a big release anyway. I don't know if the guys have released a big DLC like this before on Steam so there are probably a lot of one-off integration things to fix to make sure things keep working whether or not you have the DLC.

 

They have been quiet for quite some time now, which can indicate they are still busy working with the integration.
Like Kevin Peat said, this is a new thing (DLC for this game engine with Steam).

But i got my hopes for this week!

 

I wish they'd release the 1.1 anyway and the DLC later, really needing that spotter

 

Have you tried Crew Chief? It adds more info and has more to say .

 

I use it but it end up being a bit useless if the other drivers online aren't using it. Especially when a full course yellow appear

 

Either way, It's getting a little frustrating.
I only wanted the DLC, not the beta, not the dev access.
I paid and am still waiting.

I have a feeling it will be good when it finally arrives though.
