Hi all, I 'haven't been active lately and just wanted to know what's considered the best Formula, GT3 or LMP cars in each category at the moment with some great recent updates? Also, are the LMPs good? What's considered the best series in terms of handling, fun factor and AI as I only do single player? Any suggestions much appreciated.
You probably won't get an exact answer. It's like asking which coffee is better – the one with sugar or the one without. Open Time Trial and you'll see the fastest times with a given car. But that doesn't mean it will be the most suitable for you... at least that's what I think.
I like Formula V10, older F-USA, GT1's and the LMP2's ( in mixed class LM series). Don't ignore the new US Stock cars and the Caterhams. The 2005 Endurance pack is awesome.
For GT3s you should try them all and see what fits you in terms of driving style and what is the most fun to you. Cars like the Aston Martin or AMG are quite understeery and require a clean braking technique to get good rotation. The Corvette or Porsche are very agile but can get unsettled quickly. The BMW or Lambo seems more in the middleground. Unless you're into hardcore focus on timetrial leaderboards and extreme setups all of them are viable and there is no clear meta car to go for.
