I'm a little curious to what is generally thought as the ideal strategy/setup with the brakes. Do you aim for "green" on straights, peaking into "orange" on heavy braking? Or "blue" on the straights peaking into "green" or "yellowish"? Or something else entirely? How much do you change your aims from hotlapping to race? All thoughts on the matter welcome, including(specially) devs.
Well, you’ve got to test by running consecutive laps. You don’t want to go blue, and you dont want temps to continue to climb lap after lap. For TT you can get away with closing ducts more, but for race sims you def want a balance.
