Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

For me changing cars didn't work. I had to close the game and reopen. The other car I tried also had a busted gearbox.

 

Mine was pretty funny too. I went from like 200kmph to full stop immediately and cars behind me just crashed into me and flew everywhere.

Track and Layout Used: Long Beach
Cars: All
Bug: Warning on pit exit for taking the correct line. Had a lobby where several drivers got penalties for pit exit breaches, even though we followed the IRL pit exit every time.
Steps to reproduce: Leave the pits

After the track limits change it worked fine for a few days, but somewhere in the past few updates it's developed a bug that won't go away.

Report: AI s cannot negotiate the pit lane and get disqualified.
Steps to reproduce: Tried other cars with same result.

Report 1 player had wheel lock to rhs (moisty) in pit picture buried in floor

GTE Corvette C8 on Nordschleife has a blinking LCD screen, like it has a bad connection, It is going on and off in a frequency like it is caused by the shaking of the car.

Bug: Had a 20 lap race with very close finish (side by side) yet in the results it shows over a second difference between both cars 1.019 , I think 0.019 would have been about right.

Report: Game instantly crashes if Logitec G920 is connected via USB or G920 gets connected via USB. Occured every time since V1.2.1.0 for me and a friend also
Steps to reproduce: Just plug in a Logitec G920 and try to boot up game or connect it while game open

 

Opreth: Do you have GHUB installed? The latest update to it may have done something weird. I was crashing to desktop 1-2 seconds after the fullscreen Reiza logo appears at startup until I uninstalled GHUB and replaced it with Logitech Gaming Software. Could it be related?

Edit: Not exactly the ideal solution, but it lets me play while waiting for a fix to the issue.

Car Used: Any with a rear view display
Applicable Settings: Must use VR (AMS2 version 1.2.1.0.1723.AVX)
Report: Cars with rear view cameras (I tried GTE, Ultima GTR Race) display the image as if were a mirror rather than a fixed camera (the image on the display shouldn't be a function of the driver's head position).
Steps to reproduce: Get in a car, in VR, and look at the rear view display and move your head around. The image should not change, but it will.

Car Used: Ultima GTR (Street Cars)
Applicable Settings: Must use VR (AMS2 version 1.2.1.0.1723.AVX)
Report: Centring the VR view puts your head behind the torso's neck. and slightly too low also.
Steps to reproduce: Get in the Ultima GTR, in VR, and centre the view (you have to stretch yourself backwards and centre to place your head in the correct position).

Issue , Track is missing a lot of details missing textures. Restart race still same. Qualify it was okay.

 

If the VR reset cam position doesn’t set exactly how I like it. I use ,Map some buttons for forwards, back , up & down. I usually map keyboard keys , U, D, F, B ,Works great and remembers last position in VR.

 

Historic weather does not work anymore after latest update. Game can not find data and wants to load actual weather instead.

 

I think it is not ready for every location in game. Maybe that is the issue.

 

Had no issues before the update. Now, it is not working with any date/track I try.

 

Might be a bug ???

Camera mode tanks my PC giving me 9 FPS when I go into that mode.
It's not even for a particularly tasking picture as the weather selected was sunny and only 12 cars on track.
Replay works fine on the same scene in terms of fps but I'm also getting quite bad ghosting around the cars and scenery.
Track was Guapore - Sunny - Online session.
Cars were Omega Stock.

Cars: BMW M1
Bug: AI crews (one or two flag persons) are standing on the race track near the finish line. One flag person is entirely on the track, another appears to be partially glitched (halfway out of the wall into the track. Sorry I don't have pictures, but it is repeatable. AI crews were turned off.
Steps to reproduce: Load up Donington and race I suppose.

Bug: Required Pit Stops do not work.
Steps to reproduce: Create a custom championship, set race distance to any laps, turn PIT STOP REQUIRED to ON. Save, then either start the championship or come back to edit, and the requirement will be turned off. Tried several full races and AI does not pit.
