Report: Fanatec DD Pro wheel (the Gran Turismo branded one) has 20 unrecognised buttons. These are the four 'hat switches', each with up/down/left/right and press. In other games (e.g. AC) - you can see that these buttons are numbered 89 to 108. The other buttons on the wheel are numbered in the 1-23 range and are detected without issue (there is nothing from 24 to 88).
Steps to reproduce: Try to bind anything to the buttons in question (89 to 108).

I've tried this with the wheel configured in game as a Fanatec/CSL-DD (as it should be) and as 'custom' and 'legacy', and have tried the CSL-DD's compatibility mode - but it makes no difference. Other users report the same (see the thread over here)

    Cheers

Somebody brought this up on Steam forums: on the game's store page it says under system requirements that the game requires 50GB of storage space when in reality the current install is 83.26GB, so it would be nice if Reiza updated the storage requirements on the store page.

Porsche Cup setup bug is still there: in the setup screen there's several settings that look like they can be adjusted when in reality they cannot be changed (spring rate, dampers, differential), settings that cannot be changed should be greyed out to avoid confusion.

Applicable Settings: refuelling allowed turned ON
Report: unable to refuel car, even with pitstop refuelling allowed
Steps to reproduce: I don't know. But here's a twitch highlight of it happening. The game won't let you change fuel in pit menu with refuelling turned off, but you can see that I'm able to do so. Other drivers were also able to refuel, except some who didn't finish the race due to running out.

    Warning for language, sorry

anyone else have an issue with Caterham Super lights at Donnington Park? Was running laps in GTE and thought I would try the superlight and 1st gear works ok, but shift to second and the power just falls to zero. Went back to the porsche, no problems.

Also, try it on storm as that seems to be ok but definitely a problem with just rain as Maser stated. Just tried the MC in storm and I can drive without wipers, no rain on screen.

Report: AI cars looking like they're stuck in the track. 2 on the start/finish and the opposite side of the track the same. It was a 35 lap race with mandatory stops.
Steps to reproduce: Tried the same settings with a 3 lap race and no issue. Hope the pictures help. Actually the picture with what looks like a bonnet, there was some of the car under that but I didn't capture it very well.

Report: when the route of buenos aires uses the TOBOGAN curve, the entrance of the box has to be after the hairpin and not before as it is now in the game, in real life they use the one according to the attached image.

    Added computer information to signature.
In TT the FFB settings are altered in addition to the above mentioned low GPU utilization and poor frame rates. Persistent problem only in TT, other game modes play with over 90% GPU utilization at locked stable 90fps VR cap.
Contacted other AMS2 racers, none of them have the same issue.

Track & Layout Used: Kansai GP Full Circuit (issue is most noticeable at 200R; the long right hander between Dunlop Hairpin and Spoon Curve)
Car Used: Formula Ultimate Gen 2 (2022)
Applicable Settings: Wet weather and wet tires (may be possible with wet tires on a dry track, yet to test)

    Report
: I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I was using wet tires for a wet race at Kansai (obviously), but something odd happened coming out of Dunlop and onto 200R. Midway through 200R, I found that my front wheels were skating under hard cornering conditions.

I don't know the name of this effect; the front tires steer hard -- then stop steering -- then steer again, until I remove the high load from the tires. This is the first time I've applied this much work to the wet compound tires on this car, and all compounds of slicks that I've tested don't appear to show the same effect.

I'm unsure if this is correct, but I do recall the effect only arising when I increased downforce levels from around 15 front and rear to somewhere around 25 to 35 front and rear. If my memory is correct, this effect could be amplified by the porpoising phenomenon prevalent in the Gen 2 car. I don't recall receiving any audio cues to suggest bottoming out was occurring, but it is entirely possible I could have missed them.

I am yet to test the wet compound on any other model of single seater car; nor find a different track to test this on, but if it acts in much the same way when you test it then I should think that it's a tire issue, or otherwise a suspension/tire mismatch. A suspension/tire mismatch could be a valid reason, as I have gotten a similar -- albeit much less violent -- effect by altering suspension settings on a 90s single seater car, allowing me to set a class record at Imola. Whether or not this is a bug in the handling model remains to be seen.

If I can recreate this effect, I will edit this reply and post a YouTube link with the effect.

    Steps to reproduce:

    • Use the Formula Gen 2 (2022) vehicle
    • Enter a track with an extremely long corner with a high tire load throughout (200R at Kansai for this experiment under moist or damp conditions)
    • Switch to Driver view or a camera position that allows watching of the front tires and/or the movement effect on the camera.
    • Observe the front tires and/or the player's camera movement.
