Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

Track & Layout Used: Monza GP
Car Used: Stock Car 2019
Applicable Settings: time trial
Report: game loads oval setup on a road course track (oval tyres, assymetrical setup)

 

This same bug happened again at Oulton Park, leader crossed the line with 1 second left and pushed another lap. Some drivers got "cooldown lap" notifications on their hud when it was actually the final lap.

Report: Options set to imperial... in game wheel readouts show kph and liters instead of mph and gallons... tried metric setting and it seems to show accurately (kph and liters)... irony was that I was on a USA track running USA cars... fun times in Sim racing

*Note - UI circuit selection shows distance in miles vs kilometers correctly and length, altitude, and pit speed limit correctly... Also, car setups seem to show correctly based on selection of metric vs imperial

 

Edit, drifting problem fixed by resetting the setup in a test day before jumping into a race session.

The Race Start DQ issue still remains


Track & Layout Used:Autoclub
Car Used: Formula USA gens, 1 2 and 3
Applicable Settings: Live track at max rubbered in, Latest Release Candidate build
Report: Super Speedway Package seems to be glitched again with the cars becoming undrivable above 180mph. The Rear end breaks loose, forcing you into a sudden and compleatly unexpected drift that althought controlable, looses all speed against the AI. Same sort of thing happened upon introducing Racing USA part 3

Also being DQ'ed from the start of most races when rules are active, as the maintain position requirement suddenly moves to last while under AI control.
Steps to reproduce: Drive the Formula USA at Autoclub, no traction control or Stability control, and low ABS.

Also tested Gateway and Gateway feels fine. The issue lies with the SS package.

 

Track & Layout Used: All tracks
Car Used: GT4 Chevrolet Camaro and P3
Applicable Settings: Weather - Rain, Rain Drops: Yes
Report:
- Chevrolet has rain drops in visor/eye - there has to be a leak on the roof
- P3: No rain drops in visor/eye
Steps to reproduce:
- Drive the GT4 Chevrolet Camaro in a Rainy session, and pay attention to the rain droplets in visor/eye
- Drive any of the P3 cars in a Rainy session, and pay attention to the rain droplets missing in visor/eye

Edit: Game version: 1.4.1.3.2157

Noticed this in our GT4 league, and while doing testing for this report I stumbled into P3 class not having rain drops. So there might be even more cars which either do or do not have rain drops when they should or should not.
Also tested Formula V12 and with that, rain drops were present as expected.

I have very similar track rendering issues as you have highlighted in your post. Grass & foliage textures are Missing i.e. Invisible, also only at spa historic. Currently on the most recent release candidate build.

Report:
After selecting Monza the car switched to the Low downforce variant like it should. Then I selected Spa 1993 and it appeared as the low downforce variant again.
At Moza it appears now as the normal variant and says low downforce and vice versa.

For me the problem resolves when I click on the button "trackside" again

Report: After making setup changes, I am unable to leave the pit, need to restart session
Steps to reproduce: Drive the Puma GTE, return to pit, make a change, try to drive

 

Build: Current release candidate...
Car Used: Cadillac DPi-VR
Applicable Settings: BASELIVERY=RedMetallic
Report: The BASELIVERY setting for RedMetallic makes the entire outer shell of the car disappear...
Steps to reproduce: Use a livery override for RedMetallic for a DPi skin.

All of the other livery override options for the DPi do not have this result, just the RedMetallic.

Report: Option called "ESCALA DE DENOS" should be "ESCALA DE DANOS" I believe.
Steps to reproduce: Start the game and get into the described menu category.

Report: Game does not recognize Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 wheel Add On in advanced mode with TS-PC Racer wheel base at all. Tried in game wheel models: "TS-PC Racer", "Thrustmaster TX F1 Advanced" and "Ferrari F1 Wheel Advanced T300". Thrustmaster control panel sees the wheel and all buttons.

Ferrari 488 Challenge wheel in advanced mode and TS-PC Racer wheel base, wheel is recognized but cannot navigate menu with wheel buttons (for example switching menu tabs with paddle shifters).

Steps to reproduce: Use TS-PC Racer with Ferrari F1 Wheel Add On in Advanced Mode - you can't do it.

 

I can confirm that this model isn't working anymore...

With the TC-PC option I could get it to calibrate both pedals and steering and asign buttons but in game the steering no longer works... FFB and pedals work but no steering input no matter how many times I tried to recalibrate and remap the inputs...

With the Ferrari advanced option I cannot do anything...

The guard rail at turn 3 is penetrable

 

I have a Thrustmaster T-GT wheel and it works fine on the public release and the previous RC but this latest RC has the same issue where it will not recognize the steering in game. I can bind and calibrate everything in the settings though.
