    Report: Car audio has no doppler effect in trackside replay. It doesn't matter how fast the vehicle is going, its pitch does not change when it passes the camera.
    Steps to reproduce: Drive a Kart Cross car, do a replay

    Report: When crashing the car, it bugs, the audio is slightly saturated. I also noticed that the cars driven by the AI don't use the active rear wing on any track, is always static.
    Steps to reproduce: Drive a McLaren.

    Just to try and further nail down this issue... In case I'm not magically the only one...

    The next day it wouldn't load...

    Another clean install was made after the patch was released days later... With a windows registry deletion of everything...

    Couldn't get past the Reiza logo without either a bugsplat or it being stuck on a black screen...

    Multiple suggestions and attempts were made across multiple platforms and 95% of suggestions were attempted... Leaving out a reformat of windows as the last resort everything had been tried...

    All of the above time was spent with RC as the choice in the steam BETA options... All mods, skins and AI files were located on a separate hard drive, JSGME had not been reinstalled and CM hadn't been installed or in rar form in weeks...

    Through feedback of others I had a hunch that what I did was wrong and I should of just updated from 1.48 to 1.5... As most who had some sort of black screen issue that went away after a 2nd or 3rd load attempt had gone through the massive deletion... So I rolled back to the previous version via steam and then went to the "None" option... And it worked first attempt...

    I've lost all my statistics and my rating but it works... The only thing that was somehow kept from the time I had with it on release night was the force feedback settings... Everything else was reset to default... Which considering I did a windows registry clean after that is a little weird that the FFB was still there...

    Report: In test day mode there is no perceivable difference in grip from green/light/medium and heavy isn't as big of a step as I would of thought either given that the difference in these track conditions were widened...

    My fastest times are usually on a green track...

    Steps to reproduce: Take any car to test day and drive at heavy rubber to set a lap time, then try the same on green... I noticed the biggest difference at Cleveland where I found a second over my times on medium rubber which were my fastest before using green...

    Report: On Dedicated Servers this Car Classes causing a Limitation to 6 Drivers per Lobby. We know about the Limit for RX Tracks but this Limitation is also appearing on The Dirt Versions with normal Limits at 16.
    You can not join the Session once more than 6 Players are in the Session.
    This than affects Normal Road Tracks aswell. Once any of the Offroad Cars are selected the Limitaion is carryed over to the other Car classes, for exemple the P3. Once there are more than 6 Drivers it is not possible to join or start the session.
    Only an complett Server restart solves the issue till the Offroad Cars are selected again. Than its back!
    In Open Lobby this is not an issue everything Works fine.

    Update: The issue was causd by an wrong applied Server Update. After Reinstall the Issue was gone.

    not sure if this is a bug, the dedicated server adjust the max players according to the first track you select, if you select a dirt track with 16 slots as your first track, every track after that is limited to 16 or less, unless everybody leaves the server and you setup a new race, this has always been this way according to my knowledge.

    Report: Pit stops produce these effects on the screen, in addition to constant lags, it happens only at pit stops.
    Steps to reproduce: Wait for the AI to enter the pit and pass near the pits.

    Report: Starts are not timed the same for everyone... Mostly happens on a standing start and after the server has done the syncing before the lights...

    If you go at the same time as others you get a penatly...

    Steps to reproduce: Go online and do a few races... It happens in 1 out of 5 for me...

    Report: If you roll backwards on the starting grid you get a drive through penalty
    Steps to reproduce: Got to Bathurst or any track with an incline and roll backwards less than a metre...

    Report: Too much longitudinal grip in the tyres...

    The car drives better with full rear wing damage on medium settings... There's a very small need to correct my driving style in 4th or 5th gear corners but it handles a lot more like the car should...

    It's very very hard to do a burnout or a flick spin which is unnatural for a car like this...

    The car with the rear wing doesn't need the throttle control out of the cutting or the dipper that these cars require... Without the rear wing I start to think...

    Steps to reproduce: Tear the rear wing off and find what I found or find out I have magically got traction control on with all of the aids set to off...

    Report: The interior and roof view cameras are badly positioned. And other models that look just as bad on different cameras
    Steps to reproduce: Use the C8 Z06 and compare the camera views with other cars.

    Report: In VR the smoke from the exhaust could be seen THROUGH the car
    Steps to reproduce: Look at a car from the side that has an exhaust on the other side of the car, and you'll see that it's bugged/visible like the car is "transparant" / not there, the smoke is rendered while it shouldn't be

    Report: Too much longitudinal grip in the tyres...

    Hard tyres with standing water on the track are no problem to drive... There was no need to lift for puddles... Other drivers used the puddles to cool the soft tyres to keep their temps down...

    It's like iRacings old grass...

    There was some time lost in turning phases so the lateral grip loss isn't far off... But no punishment for the puddles on slicks on traction...

    Steps to reproduce: Have a wet session that turns to dry but has puddles or rivers across the track and then slap a set of hards on... Didn't need to warm them up either...


    Side note...

    Wet and intermediate tyres were wonderful however... Really gave me some joy for the first half of the race... The new sounds are great... Really close to the right amount of grip for the expected transitions... Until there was a dry line around the track slicks weren't going to be faster because of the lateral grip loss...

    Report: Lots of instances where the lobby will hang... This is the first instance I have seen since 1.5 of the lobby getting stuck here though...

    Normally this is an issue for after practice or qualy when it's switching sessions... But this happened at the lobby level...

    Steps to reproduce: Host closed the session before I could get more information, should be a p2p as I excluded dedicated... Had over 20 drivers in it when I joined...

    Report: After I crashed into a barrier and abandoned the race I came to see how the AI entered the pits and saw them exploding in the replay.
    The speed limit was 60, so I don't know if it's a real problem.

    Report: Using real time weather, it was raining , when in setup page there was no option for wet tires, only slicks. I couldn’t drive in the wet with wet tires.

    Applicable Settings: Online race weekend, p2p, practice dry and sunny, light rain in qualy default progressing, Race was overcast with a wet starting track setting... It told the drivers it was soaked...
    Report: The tyre transitions for the weather aren't working as well as they were before...

    The wets just aren't very useful whilst there's still spray on the track whilst the slicks are good as soon as there is no spray...

    The slicks in a straight line gave me no issues with puddles and could be used whilst there was plenty of reflective surfaces on the track... As soon as the line was dry enough for the fronts to grip and almost as soon as there is no spray, but it's all lateral grip limitations... Curbs weren't an issue neither were white lines...

    Even the final corner at Snetterton where you have to transition the weight over 2 rivers that cross the track that should of given me some sort of aquaplaning didn't bother my way of driving through the corners... Before I would of needed to make some sort of correction through that or at the very least make sure there was no weight being moved around... Now it's a case of I've finished turning right... ooo I like those nice graphics flowing across the track... Now I turn left... The 3 puddles that follow the corner weren't a thought to my right foot either...

    From a soaked starting track preset... The wets need to work further into the dry by about 5-8 minutes longer with 20 drivers... The drys need about 5-10 minutes longer before they should start to work... A lot more longitudinal slip is needed with water on the track for the drys... The lateral slip is good... About 4-6 minutes after the start of the race the the wets had no chance out of the corners against a car on slicks...

    Someone started on slicks and ended on the podium in a 3.8 car in a 20 minute race... As everyone on wets had to pit within the first 10 minutes...

    Side note... These tyres were the closest to what I felt was going to be the step up for 1.5... They are missing some elements that make them hard tyres like they are labelled as in game, low grip on cold tyres, but they are a lot more on the limit out of some slow corners than the other cars I've tried... I would say they'd make a good soft tyre given their wear rate when locking up, but should wear faster than a hard tyre alternate if it was to be made...
