Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

In time trial when you reset session, TC and ABS stay disabled.

 

Track & Layout Used: seems to happen in any track
Car Used: seems to happen in any car
Applicable Settings: seems to happen with any weather
Report: Half the field, including the host getting disconnected randomly from multiplayer sessions, no matter how big the grid, last time it happened it was 4 of us driving. No issues all race, and suddenly the host and one driver get disconnected for no reason.
Steps to reproduce: Host a server through ingame hosting or dedicated server

 

Problem: Won't restore default settings.
Practice session - Porsche GT3 in Cascavel - In the garage, I reset the settings to default, because the settings I had loaded were the ones I had made for another track. Visually, I got back the original values, but when I clicked done and went back to the settings screen, the system showed the previous settings - several attempts and the same problem, including restarting the game, the problem still persisted.

 

Problem/QoL Request: When making a championship template, it's possible for the user to accidentally exit without any confirmation (as the back button sound can respond before the visual change of going back, this lead to me clicking the back button again), thus erasing progress.

Suggestion: In the event of making a championship template, if the back button is pressed while editing a championship, there should be an "Are you sure you'd like to exit editing the championship without saving?" dialog box.

Report: AI have access to wet tires but I do not, I can only select speedway slicks in the setup menu. Would really like to see this changed so I can race in the rain against the AI like how the 90s CART cars are.
Steps to reproduce: Fire up a practice session and observe the tire choice of the AI

Report: F1 style road course layout using the hairpin bypassing the fast chicane and taking the oval T1 is absent and could be really easily implemented.

Report: AI repairs damage to "all" damage preset despite the pit menu being set up for "off" damage (no damage repair) since the last pitstop 10 minutes ago (see video)
Steps to reproduce: Damage the car (but enough that you can still drive it back to the pits) and have the pit crew repair it, setting the damage repair setting to off. Do a stint or so and make another pitstop not adjusting the settings.

Report: Engine sound briefly cuts out
Steps to reproduce: Retire from a race and follow cars in the trackside camera, you should eventually run into this glitch

Applicable Settings: Long race (>45 minutes tested)
Report: Clicking the replay button causes the sim to become softlocked on a black screen, with no way of recovery without closing the sim in task manager. Loses all replay and results data.
Steps to reproduce: Drive a race for at least 45 minutes with a decent field of cars (32 cars used in this example) and go to the replay screen for the entire race. Observe the resulting failure.

Report: I could see the safety car lights from anywhere on the track while I was driving.

Short race 20 minutes and 1 pitstop.
Time and weather: x1 clear weather, some clouds.

During pitstops time some of the lollipop men in pits went running to the middle of the track at the start finish straight. I'm not sure if he was my team's because I had to comply with a stop and go and didn't stop (I was disqualified at the end) Hilarious but inmersion breaker.

 

The lollipop guys are standing on the road instead of the pitlane on many tracks, not just on ovals.
At least, they are ghosting and you can not crash into them...

Applicable Settings: Preset Championship Stock Car Pro Series, round 8 of 12, Race distance scale: 61%, race 2
Report: After pitting and changing left front tyre (using a defined Pitstrategy, I got disqualified for not following the mandatory pit stop. Rules are: Mandatory pitstop, minimum tyres:0.
Steps to reproduce: Race again with these settings

 

Track & Layout Used: Any
Car Used: F-Ultimate Gen1 and F-Ultimate Gen2
Applicable Settings: Multiplayer session with AI cars to fill grid
Report: Some AI cars jitter around violently and dive under the road surface and pop back up intermittently. This only happens to the client(s) in the multiplayer session. The host seems unaffected and sees these AI cars driving normally.
Steps to reproduce: Drive around the track, it seems to start a few laps in to some of the cars.

 

Pitstops often take much longer than predicted.

For example I did a race at Monza with The Hi-tech Gen 2. I was just changing tyres, no refuel, no repair.
Prediction was 5,8 but it finally took almost 20 seconds.
