    Report:With version 1.6.8.1, the crackling sound issue is still present for me. Especially in the menu with the full starter list, scrolling up and down makes it easy to reproduce. It also occurs during races, particularly when shifting. I have tried different audio hardware and tested on both Windows 11 and Linux, so it is definitely something related to the game.

    Shouldn't there been progress on that topic with the latest patches?

    Report: Two things. First, the AI cars tend to drive into the inside grass when going side by side with other cars. And second, I think that the full course yellow in ovals should be triggered whenever a car spins. I got hit from behind by an AI car, which caused me to spin, and the FCY was not brought out. I had the scheduled FCY on, although I don't think it should interfere with regular FCY rules.

    I made a picture with Ps based on an onboard recording of what it should look like.
    The font I found and the most similar is MADE Tommy Font, which can be found on the dafont page.

    Applicable Settings: Single race, Scheduled Full Course Yellow - Random, AI Strength 106, AI Aggression Normal, 27 AI cars, same class. 55 lap race, x2 fuel and tires.
    Report: The scheduled FCY comes out at lap 35, so everyone pits under that period to get to the end on fuel. However, the pace car never waits until the field is bunched up, and the game throws the green flag with the full field still trying to catch up to the pace car. I was leading and never got to catch the pace car. Basically ruined the race.

    EDIT: If it helps, I think that the cause is that the number of FCY laps seems to be fixed. However, some types of cars have longer pitstops than others. The Stock Cars can't refuel and change tires at the same time, and that's why they don't have time to catch the pace car. The number of FCY laps should either be better calibrated for each car or have it wait until the entire field is bunched up behind it.

    Report: AI is extremely slow here with these cars. They are just cruising around a dry track like if there was some kind of monsoon and I can drive circles around them, I am not good in driving this class of cars, though.

    Example: When passing start/finish in training session, I saw on the HUD that next car in front was 6 seconds ahead. I easily catched it before "Hawthorn Bend". Later on when watching the replay, I saw that this car was not on it's outlap.

    Report: Pixel bug on Tyres in VR. It looks like dirt/rubber on the tyres isnt rendered properly. In normal desktopmode it seems to be ok.

    Report: BMW M4 GT4 tail light glow is way too faint compared to other cars. I was driving behind it a while, and wondered if something was broken, as I could see the headlight glow. When passing it could see that the taillights were on, there just wasnt any glow/shine. See screenshot; BMW on the left, Audi GT4 on the right, me in the Porsche GT4 ahead.

    Report : AI are still incredibly OP in sector 2. As if they are on rails, I have to cut the inside of turn 10 to keep up. This has been an issue for quite some time now.

    Report: is this supposed to be available for f1-hitech gen 2 model 2..? i was racing it around kansai, and one of the sim-racers i race with said it wasn't realistic and was not supposed to have all those options. is it a setup bug?

    It's a UI bug that can happen to the active suspension cars while using steps-mode for suspension settings and those sliders do nothing actually.

    Only active suspension settings actually affect the dampers

    Report: If the AI drives, you will be overtaken by many cars at the start.
    Steps to reproduce: Have the AI drive the MP4/6 and MP4/7 and watch the replay of the start of the race.

    Applicable Settings: Weather - Dry to Wet
    Report: AI does not make pit stops for tire changes when the track becomes too wet for Slicks. I'm not sure if it's related to the fact that 'Automatic by Weather' Tyre Compound is always Semi-Slicks for them.
    Steps to reproduce: Let the AI drive Formula Trainer in a session where the track changes from dry to wet/very wet. You can also create a Multi Class with Formula Trainer Advanced and you will see that only the Advanced will pit for Wet Tyre Compounds.

    The Trainers only offer semi-slicks and rain tyres. Only the Advanced have slicks/rain tyres.
    Maybe, the AI drives with those semis as long as it is not too wet, as the cars in general offer more grip for AI than for player.

    Good point! But I've double checked it: Even during Thunderstorm with a 60x time acceleration (as far as I know, it can't get any wetter than that), the Formula Trainers don't switch to Wets.
