    Barcelona Historic (Steam commenters would imply other circuits too)
    Cars: Formula Classic Gen3, models 2 and 3

    Report: Time Trial is unavailable for these two vehicles at this circuit, but is enabled for the other three models (Model 1, Model 4, McLaren MP4/5B

    Others have reported on Steam recently that F1 Classic Gen3 Time Trials have been having issues for a while but this is the only one I have looked at so far

    Track and Layout: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP (No Chicane)
    Car: Mclaren MP4/12

    Report: Same issue as above - this car also gives the message that Time Trials are currently unavailable. Switching between this and the other V10 Gen1 car (which DOES have TTs available) does not appear to change anything. I'm about to set a time and see if it saves it anyway.

    Report: (Long-standing issue, more detail) When commencing a Time Trial session in an H-pattern car, if the clutch isn't depressed before hitting "Start", you will hear the gears grind. And now with the new HUD, we can see that the car experiences a 2% durability loss to the transmission. This occurs in any H-pattern vehicle, and it happens even if you already have the correct gear selected. The problem has existed for a long time now, but now we can see that it does in fact have an effect on the performance of the vehicle (although I suspect it's completely negligible).

    Edit: Having foot on the clutch before click on "Start" actually doesn't seem to make any difference whatsoever. 9/10 times you get gear grinding noise and the gearbox wear and there seems to be no correlation between when it does and doesn't happen that I can figure out

    [Time Trial] Cheating via Track Cut — Copa São Paulo Kart Stage 2

    Hi everyone, I'm reporting impossible lap times on the Time Trial leaderboard for Copa São Paulo Kart Stage 2 with the Kart 2T Shifter.

    The top times (00:41.1xx) are over 2 seconds faster than what any legitimate driver can achieve in this configuration — which is physically impossible without a track cut.

    Drivers involved: Ricardinho, TRT | Roy.46, and others at the top of the leaderboard.

    Attached: a screenshot of the leaderboard and a video recording showing the shortcut being used. I'm requesting that these laps be invalidated and that an automatic penalty or cut detection be implemented at that point of the circuit, as already exists on other tracks.

    Hope the Reiza team can look into this. Thanks!

    Hi,

    First at all, excuse my english, I'm french and i don't often write in english.

    I would like to report au bug using the replay features. I'm wtih the last version of AMS2. The issue occurs with every track, layout, car, seting, weather, etc.

    I use the replay feature quite a bit to review races and check what happens in case of a complaint, as I'm also part of the race commission.

    As constructive criticism, there are several things that could be improved:
    • Replay speed management:
      • There's a bug in the replay's playback speed. If you start the replay at too fast a speed, for exemple the "x10" or "x20" speed, the other competitors besides the one you're viewing don't start. And if you take too long to react, they never start, and you have to exit and re-enter the replay to see them.
      • Furthermore, even if you start at real speed, if you leave it in 20x fast forward for too long, the other competitors freeze. And if you don't react quickly enough, they don't restart.
    • Lap count display:
      • There's a bug in the display of laps 10 and beyond. I think the problem is because of the translation. I assume that in the original version, it's "LAP," which is shorter than "TOUR" in french, meaning that from the 10th lap onward, only the tens digit is visible.
      • In the example below, we are at the lap 12

      • In my opinion, "LAP" works just as well in French while we wait for a correction, or perhaps add one or two more characters to the lap count display area. Three digits would be good for long endurance races.
    • Exiting the Replay
      • When you right-click, you immediately exit the replay without warning. I sometimes accidentally click this button, and it's quite annoying to have to replay the entire playback to get back to where you left off, especially with the bugs related to using high playback speed. A confirmation message before exiting would be helpful.
    • Timecode Management
      • It would be useful to be able to click on the replay's timer bar to position the replay at a specific point in the race. We could position ourselves more quickly at a certain point in the race.

    These are just ideas or suggestions, although I suspect you already have many more important tasks on your to-do list.

    The V10 cars in this class go to fast when entering the pitlane and crash into the wall on the left side of the entry quite often.

    Applicable Settings:

    • Race Length: 2h10
    • Game Time: 21:00
    • Full Course Yellow (FCY): Enabled
    • 1x fuel, 1x tires, authentic failures
    • Custom AI
    Report:
    AI cars are intermittently coming to an abrupt, near-instant stop on track, as if colliding with an invisible object. The behavior appears as a transition from racing speed to a complete stop in a very short distance, not consistent with normal braking or loss of control.

    This has been observed at multiple points during the race and does not appear tied to driver error, visible incidents, or track obstructions. The stops occur under green flag conditions. Video links below that show two examples





    In several cases, these sudden stops lead to secondary incidents:

    • Following cars collide with the stopped vehicle

    • Additional cautions are triggered

    • Contributes to race instability (including the fuel-related issues previously reported)
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Set up a multi-class race (GT3 / LMP2 / LMDh) at Le Mans.

    2. Set race length to approximately 2 hours (tested at 2h10).

    3. Enable Full Course Yellow (FCY).

    4. Run the race for an extended period (typically observed after ~1 hour).

    5. Observe AI behavior:
      • Some cars will abruptly decelerate from racing speed to a full stop with no visible cause.
    Additional Notes:

    • This behavior appears unrelated to normal AI braking or collision avoidance.

    • It resembles a physics or pathing issue (e.g., collision with an unseen boundary or incorrect track limit response).

    • Occurs in conjunction with other AI issues at Le Mans (fuel strategy under FCY), but appears to be a separate problem.

    The recommended fuel for # of laps is incorrect. The game under quotes the required fuel by about 15L for a 25min race. It is still incorrect if you do 3 or more consecuitive laps during Quali. This seems to only impact the Aston Martin GT3 Evo but not the Merc GT3 Evo, Corvette GT3 or Porsche 992 GT3-R. Other GT3 Gen 2 cars haven't been tested for this bug yet.

    Report: Rolling starts with it "Formation lap" turned ON is broken. When doing rolling start with force formation laps, it put the top 6 cars a lap down and behind the other cars on the opposite end of the track far away from the group. We used this feature for a multiplayer race and it caused a lot of chaos and confusion. It would be great to see a better solution implemented for rolling start. Perhaps start the cars starting still, a give the drivers go ahead to start driving to the start line at a certain speed before the green flag drops at the start line.

    Lap down bugs in MP used to be a bug but they were fixed recently, even in Rolling starts with formation. In SP it may still happen tho.

    When exactly was the last time you had this lap down issue in MP session with rolling and formation? Do you still have the MP online log to share?

    I don't have the replay so didn't make a report but there was something like this in the Formula L multiplayer race on Wednesday night.

    At the start of the race it said "syncing" for a longish while then when we started someone was a lap (or 2?) down. This was Sprint cars, Cascavel, fixed setups, Rolling Start but not a full formation lap.

    In Group A cars (Merc/Audi), with certain camera settings, the sound is no longer centered but is output only through the left speaker or only from the right speaker. So far, I’ve only been able to reproduce this issue in Group A cars (with other car classes it is fine). Starting with the classic cockpit cam it happens when you enable the free camera (2x CTRL K) and move (A/Q/E) directly over the center of the hood (essentially simulating a hood cam). If I shift the perspective to the left (so the hood is no longer visually centered), the sound comes out of both speakers again.

    1066890_206.jpg May have been mentioned already but, the steering sensitivity setting in the control config menu is inverted: below 50% (default) is more sensitive; above 50% is less sensitive. Seems like a fundamental flaw, that may explain people not being happy with the steering feel when making adjustments per car.

    Sorry to bother you again, but I tried running a race at the Suzuka circuit with the GTE cars—35 cars on the track in the classic layout—but ever since the race started, the circuit has been experiencing FPS drops. Normally, this game runs between 75 and 80 FPS for me, but it drops below 60 FPS at Suzuka, and the strange thing is that it doesn’t happen all over the track—it’s in certain sections where the cars bunch up the most. I tried all the layouts in the game, and they all suffer from FPS drops; it doesn’t stutter, but it does give that awful slow-motion effect. I decided to cancel the race and switch to another track to see if it was my PC, and I didn’t have any issues there; so it could be poor optimization of the Suzuka tracks, and in fact, I closed the entire game and tried again, and it’s the same.

    ---It seems that the solution a forum member gave me for the Le Mans circuit and the stuttering also fixed the low FPS issues at Suzuka; I disabled the pit animations, and so far it seems to have solved the problem.---

    Hi, small detail, can the fact the aston gt3 gen 2 cant start from a standing position like the others in the series be resolved? i mean it just bogs down and losses so much revs, with 0 TC its a spinner with 1 TC and above it wont et off th eline like the other gen 2s

    I ran a race in 1988 Montreal Historic using the Formula Ultimate Hybrid GEN 1 cars—a 90-minute race with 35 opponents. The thing is, when they started making pit stops, the AI mechanics would come out onto the track on the home straight—that is, outside the wall separating the track from the pit area. While it’s true that it’s not a terrible bug and is more of an aesthetic issue—since it’s there and looks bad—the other thing is that it seemed to me that the AI started making pit stops way too quickly; I only made one while the AI made three, and it seemed unnecessary to me. That’s all. Thanks.

    The grid of cars starts in the pit garages for the GP circuit instead of the National circuit when running a Single Race session. Can anyone else please confirm if they're having the same problem? It's chaos over here :D

    Happens at random. Unsure of cause. I play in VR with Corsair HS70 headset connected via USB. Some days I start the game and notice the left and right audio channels are reversed and so I need to go into the audio settings menu to reselect the headset, which fixes it.
