Solved: This post helped me. (1) Start Non-VR mode, (2) Enable Legacy Head Movement mode, (3) Set 1% Head Movement, (4) Restart in VR mode. Now the horizon is stabilized. TrackIR in AMS2 requires Steam VR mode but this disables options like World Movement, etc., and so you still get the horizon shaking problem. Am I missing something? Is there a fix for this? Or did Reiza fix it for non-VR, real VR users, but missed the TrackIR case? Actually, how do VR users solve this problem?
I'm using the same way to play, only with trackhat instead of trackIR. I never find the camera shaking annoying or problematic. What car/track are problematic for you, I will try them also to see if I experience the same
Today I've been at Oulton Park with the Ultima GTR, Chev Cruze Stock Car 2020, McLaren 720S GT3, and they all have the same problem I think.
Interestingly, in non-VR (so non-TrackIR) mode I like Head Movement 100. Oh weird, in VR mode, Head Movement is renamed to World Movement (Default: 0) but it's also disabled so can't fix anything by using that.
I can't drive without the trackhat ability to look around anymore Really miss the possibility to look into the apex and to see where the opponents are So I don't know what I would like without
