Lol, opposite here. I use 75 in VR. 25 makes the cockpit move around which feels horrible to me. :p

Whereas I, on the other hand, have everything set to 0 :D

Had an Idea, maybe it also has something to do with the fact that suspensions aren't animated yet on all cars, so bumps have a more direct effect on the camera than if the suspension would filter out the bumps?

Could have been, but nope nope ;) Effect of suspension are applied already to the chassis IMHO. The suspension lack of animation it's just a graphic missing stuff, nothing more.

Heitor said the same system will be coming from AMS1 so everybody will be happy :)

I'm VERY glad to hear this... really struggling with the world movement, particularly in open wheelers. Places like Brands Hatch almost make me feel sick driving around. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

The camera from AMS1 will be implemented, but it's not a priority right now.

No, i don't get motion sickness.
The only thing i noticed as unpleasant is the big low-ress mirror in the Stock Car V8

Any news on this? I'm still getting sick. Was really hoping this would be fixed for 1.0 release.

Make sure that you are not in the Helmet cam, by default that one looks to apex and it makes you sick in VR.

What are your settings? It was calmed down somewhat a few updates back.

Turn off all fake high speed camera shake, Gforce and camera/helmet motion and set world movement to 50. I'm much more happy now. I would even add that Reiza needs to add a "head/neck" absorption control similar to iRacing where the head (camera) is not directly attached to the suspension or car chassis movement, but moving with a lesser % due to your eyes and head compensating for the bumps.

Really? I'm using default (75) with zero g-force. I've tested every build in early access and I haven't noticed any change yet, including 1.0 + hotfix.

75 is not a default. 0 and 100 are the two opposite extremes, so if you prefer car movement versus world movement tip it one way or the other, but 50 is the middle/default.

75 has been the default since V0.8.0.1 on my game and has not changed all the way through V1.0

But anyway, I've already tried everything from 0 - 100.

That's just to address people complaining about too much of one type of movement versus another. 50 is still the midpoint. And the entire scale is still too bumpy for many, so another overall reduction is likely in order.

But you were aware of this update that I mentioned earlier...?

    And this thread?:

I guess it's semantics. 75 is the default. Of course 50 is the midpoint between 0 and 100 (and I've tried that), but the game defaults to 75 on a fresh/new install.

Sorry, I don't have access to that forum. Never understood why I have access to the beta game but not the beta forum? There's probably lots of good info in there.

Anyway, thanks for your help. I guess it's in the Dev's hands now.

The summary is to use 50 until the devs figure-out how to replicate the AMS 1 scheme, which they would like to do, but no date/timing commitment. 50 will be the "calmest" setting, though 25 or 75 could be good depending on whether you prefer car vs horizon movement. Anything higher than 75 or lower than 25 will be moving into the extreme range one way or the other.

There are several pleas in that thread from me that say, "can't we just have the old AMS (1) head movement back--it was perfect?!"
