I tried this with the F1 V10 however I am getting massive amounts of blur both on the cockpit, mirrors and in the distance as soon as I go 100+ kph. I turned motion blur off as I normally have this set to Low however it did not solve the problem.. Are you experiencing this as well..? It is very extreme.. I may take a video and raise it as a bug.

I am very happy Reiza are going to develop this area because I remember bringing this up in the PC development days.. With high power formula cars I could never find an acceptable sweet spot and after a while your brain feels like mush..

On a side note, I think motion blur should be listed under visual fx with all the other post processing effects and not under graphic performance..

... this is what I am referring too.. The more steering input the greater the level of blur. I understand why they want blur for this view however it would be nice to control this somehow..

@Coanda, I think you are confusing Motion Blur with Depth of Field:

In regular 2D playing, not VR.
Setting WM=0 seems to fix the horizon in cockpit view. Car frame still wobble, but horizon does not change which is what I want. However, WM seems to be effective for cockpit view only. In bonnet or roof view. Horizon line still wobbles greatly. Does WM only apply to cockpit view?
Is it possible to apply to all views?

Or is it possible to hide the car frame in cockpit view?

    Thank you.

Make sure your graphic settings are set where your FPS never drops below 90 fps (or 11ms in dev tools overlay in Stream VR)

Tried Hockenheim 2001 layout with the latest F1 cars, it was un-driveable. The shaking was too much.

I use WM to 25 and zero G shake. Motion blurr off and Depth of field off. Make sure FOV is correct using a calculator. its 57 for my display.
Did not have any motion sickness since last camera update.
PS. That´s for cockpit view, if i go helmet camera i can´t stand 15 minutes without getting sick, same feeling i had with VR at a friends house.

Luckily for me I don’t experience motion sickness. Only the first time I tested a VR set. The PSVR at the time just before release. Did 1 lap with driveclub. Almost the whole lap I had my eyes closed. Got really sick.
    Bought the PSVR nevertheless :D
Now after 1 zillion laps with the Ocules Rift I don’t experience motion sickness whatsoever..... my brain has adapted .

Yeah, I guess it depends on the individual... don't get sickness as well, except when I first tried the roller coaster demo, aweful! :D On the other hand, with triples, like @bigpig said, stiff cars are still so wobbly no matter the settings.

Same. I love the track it looks beautiful and the new F1 cars also drive great, but it's almost unplayable because of the constant jumpy camera behaviour.
Makes me motion sick after 2-3 mins. :(

The low res mirror is awful in the stock car, can this be fixed?

Sad that we cannot have a True 100% lock to horizon option. It can be done as pCars2 and Assetto Corsa prove that.

Surely the Devs can understand that some people absolutely DO need this to avoid getting very nauseous and dizzy ?

I understand the whole "it's a sim we have to be true to life" argument ... however this is beyond that and even leave out the argument that our own eyes and brain makes up for the difference in real life such that we do not experience the insane shakiness apparent is the sim. Just make it a bloody option for whomever wants it.... Please.

Heavens to Betsy Batman ! Just Freakin' Fix It !!!!!

For me the shaking in AMS2 is just a bit to much. I would like to have an option for turning any head movement completely off.

rFactor 2 gives me weird VR motion sickness that no other sim does. I find AMS2 extremely pleasant without adjusting anything.

The new V10 Gen 1's do shake a ton for some reason, but I dont see that in the car in VR.

The shaky / moving camera is the only thing I want fixed urgently, some car / track combos are just un-driveable for me and I can't find a good setting even with lots of tweaking. Using triples it's to the point where it induces motion sickness sometimes.
