Hey, thanks for the website, it makes to search huge AMS2 library easier, I really appreciate this. I have a question regarding this - is this project still alive? I can see that there is plenty of cars missing, so I assume it isn't?
Apologies for letting it get stale. Perhaps one weekend I'll add the latest cars, but I am in fact busy with developing the game itself so it's tricky. I am also open to adding some trusted people access to the codebase so it can be a group effort. It takes basic Node skills to build the site locally.
I'm not sure how I missed this website, but having just discovered it, I'm a huge fan! I hope it can be updated at some point since it is really helpful when away from gaming PC! Thanks!
Same for me. Lol. Bookmarked. Do we ever will get the Dallara IndyCar as seen in Pcars2? Love that car.
I've just discover this thread and this website I think it's very useful for people like me, that only know the very basic about motorsports. There I can make a mental map of the disciplines and years of the cars. Seriously, thanks you. Just as suggestion, I think you can include information about the circuits, or at least, explain in which circuits can (or should) drive each car category
Im a bit slow on this. really nice work! This can be useful in game as well. Now if we can just get Ferraris and some other regular cars in the game. I know there are a couple people doing car mods, but not many
The site is great. I am new to AMS2 and getting into the Brazilian stock car racing. I had no idea the 2019 models were more "advanced" compared to the 20/21 models etc. Very useful information. It gives and insight into the types of series and cars. As a newcomer to AMS2, I will definitely return to the website a lot. It is nice to read about the various car classes too.
the mini jcw has wrong elctronic aids info, on the site it says it has TC and no ABS, in game it's the other way around, it has ABS and doesn't have TC
How has no one realised that the V10 G2 F1 cars are 2001 not 2000, purely based on the fact that they have TC - the first year for F1 to have TC, whereas 2000 didn't have TC...
I love all the info on the cars, so much work went into that and is much appreciated. Is there any info available for what the tire temperature and pressure should be in game?
Rumours about Cars of AMS2's death are greatly exaggerated. Now up to date with all new cars since November 2021
Nice job, but I noticed that a couple of lines got switched in the HTML and the pictures for the Chevy & Porsche GTE are mixed up. GTE
Oops, good catch. It’s actually the C8R using RSR’s sheet data and vice versa. I’ll sort it out later.
Great work updating the Cars of AMS2 website. Some of the visual previews utilize realistic liveries, while others do not. Especially with the better known series, it would be nice to feature realistic livery pictures for all series, and perhaps provide a link to each livery set. Also--although this is a small point--a Caterham Academy is not a 270R, a Supersport is not a 360R, and a Superlight is not a 360R. To be blunt, Reiza simply confused contemporary road-spec Caterhams with previous-generation race-spec packages. Not a big deal, really, but little need for the website to double-down on the same mistake....
The years listed for the F Retro G2 are all out by a year - 1978 not 1979. The BT49, as it is ingame, is the 1980 car.
