Thanks so much to Gongo an Mr B for bringing this absolutely essential mod to AMS, it just enhances the driving experience so much.

One issue I have noticed is that the Chief ignores engine damage. I totalled my car and the engine died, but was told it was just a scratch and get on with it! Character building!

 

loving it gonga, I have not delta times for myself or other cars, no gap times to cars in front or behind either, is this implemented yet and will it be?
also fuel only tells me when I have 2 litres left, that's not early enough

The delta at the moment is critical as the dynhud delta does not work properly, and times to opponents would be awesome so you don't have to look away from the road while your racing.
But take your time, your efforts are appreciated.
I know you mentioned blue flags can't be fully implemented but I got no blue flags at all during a race.

Thanks gongo, at the moment all the old spotter does is give you deltas at the sector lines so anything is better than that but the issue with dynhud is ,once you set a fast lap its fine but as soon as you go back to pits and come out again it starts a new delta from the fastest lap after you come out of the pits again instead of your overall fastest lap in the entire session, which is useless , that's why some guys are using spotter because it at least calls out the correct delta times for the session and gives you a rough indication every sector where your lap is at

 

Ah yes also gongo, a really cool thing that spotter does is if you go off track it tells you if a car is close when you are trying to reenter track, this is superb for online racing, I don't think crew chief is saying this at the moment? But the info should be available if the other spotter can do it?

 

Hi, does this mean a patch is ready for download for us, or you have submitted it to the maker of crewchief? and we wait for them to implement?

 

I must admit to being one of those who prefers the timing/damage/pitting info over the spotting - I wonder if it would be possible in a future update, to include an option to switch off the Nascar type 'car left, car right, clear' messages?

Thank you for all the work in bringing this to AMS, it's a major boost to the overall immersion & a new spotter/crew chief plugin has been long overdue.

 

You can toggle spotter on/off already. Just bind a key for it in chief control panel.

So Good to have one Spotter for almost all my sims. Tested it on Formula Truck and Automobilista..this is awsome

 

I didn't join ur test team but that's totally me xD spotter and flags are all I need and maybe a warning telling when pit crew is ready (didn't notice if this is already implemented, is it?).

@gongo Marcas is simply Marcas.exe while Formula Truck is FTruck.exe
Thank you for working on this. I did not have time to try yet but that's sounds exciting! I will try to test with the Marcas game and let you know if it works.
