I'll do the test as soon as no one is on track, Erick ... but I think you're allright finding the reason of this problem happening to some of us and not all of us.

Never had problem any longer since I'm testing servers with modded content:
As I'm in the dedicated server folder for placing the new files ... I'm starting the dedicated server.exe from the installation folder.

But just to be sure and confirm I'll do a new test.

I just did some tests ... and even with starting the server in the dedicated server folder ...it didn't show on the server list .... but ...
without using the "Exit" ... I just changed 1 driver less allowed on server and restarting ... the server showed in the list.

Using then the "Exit" and starting from the 1st window of the tool .... without changing anything, the server didn't appear on the list..
Once more restarting without the "exit" .... it showed once more .. and no matter from where it was done, installation folder or game shortcut created by the game .... the problem was finally the same.

Could you test the same, Erick ... or did you test it that way yet ?

Just tested it and could not replicate the behavior you mentioned here (changing the number of players without exiting the tool).

@kimbo , crash to desktop usually means that you're not running Steam.
You still need Steam running (even on offline mode) for the tool to work.
