I have a Logitech G Pro wheel and pedals with a Simagic DS-8X shifter that I can't seem to get the inputs registered for. Each time I go into gear, it does nothing, then if I take it back to neutral it assigns "Joy Button 0" as the assignment.

Anyone have any tips to get it working? So far I've uninstalled/reinstalled the game, deleted the default controller profile in the game file to reset it, calibrated the shifter, nothing seems to work. The shifter works fine for every other game I've got (iRacing, AC/Evo/Rally, FH6), just AMS2 giving me issues.

    Hello,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. Have you tried setting the 'type' to 'Custom Wheel' or 'Legacy' and the 'pedals' to 'Separate'? Note that you’ll lose all your current bindings, so you’ll need to rebind them afterward. Once done, go on track and check if your DS-8X is working properly.

If you selected Logitech, it may use hardcoded bindings, which could be causing the issue.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need further assistance.

Thanks Marius, I did try that last night. I used "Custom" which cleared all bindings, but when I went to assign the H-pattern gears, encountered the same issue. It will either ignore the shift into gear and pick up the shift back into neutral as "Joy Button 0", or I will get "multiple inputs detected". I believe I was receiving the latter issue when I used "custom" as the wheel type.

Thanks for messaging back. Can you try 'Legacy' or 'Generic'. Also take a look at the Pit House-settings.I don't have a Moza, but Pit House seems to have issues with AMS2 so and then, according to other users. Alternatively try another USB-port.

I don't have Moza equipment, so I don't have Pit House.

I experienced the same problem when I got a DS-8X shifter recently. You need to select the input and then shift back to neutral and it will register. I hope this works for you, its a great shifter.
