Share your favorite racing movie. Here are some good racing movies I can think of at the moment. Le Mans Rush Ford v Ferrari Days of Thunder Grand Prix Senna Driven
Surely Ford vs Ferrari tops all other racing movies. I would say honestly.. Its racing, but not 'simulation racing movie' I liked Death Race and Fast to Furious 1, 2 & 3 a lot.. 4 till 10 are funny if you don't take it too serious and you're drunk.
To add to the list of movies that have some connection with racing please let me add: - Ferrari (2023) - Talladega Nights - The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby (2006) - The Art Of Racing In The Rain (2019) I highly recommend the last one I mentioned in the list, it's a beautiful movie, a bit a hidden gem you could say. Enjoy!
The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix (Flåklypa Grand Prix). It was the dramaturgic inspiration for the Star Wars pod race, and also the reason why Christian von Koenigsegg wanted to build cars.
In a less serious vein: Genevieve Monte Carlo or Bust! The Love Bug Herbie Rides Again Herbie goes to Monte Carlo Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the opening sequence)
Rush and Ford v ferrari. Looking forward to seeing ferrari. Got gran turismo to watch, just haven't seen it yet
Thanks a lot for posting this. I saw this movie once on TV when I was a little boy and was fascinated by Il Tempo Gigante. I just tried to find this movie for sale online somewhere, but couldn't find anything at first because I looked for it under the English title - then I came upon a 12 year old forum post that had a link to the online shop of the film studio - which is still there, and the BluRay is still in stock. So now I'm 21 EUR poorer and one nostalgic childhood memory richer
Ford v Ferrari is my pick! The story, the cars, and the whole dynamic between Shelby and Miles are just awesome.
