Automobilista 2 V1.6.9.8, Hungaroring & Historic Track Pack Pt4 RELEASED!!
Automobilista 2 V1.6.9.8 is Now Live! The new update is packed with exciting new content and features, including the two world-championship winning Renault R25 & R26, free for all users to enjoy.
IMPORTANT: As mentioned in the latest Dev Update, imminent licensing restrictions might result in some official F1 cars getting removed for new purchases of the game in the near feature, including these latest Renault cars that are just been added to the game with this update; we remind all users that if you already have AMS2, the content you own today or come to own at any point from now until such measure is implemented will not be impacted - they will remain part of your Automobilista 2 installation.
The latest update is not all about the formulas, as the various gameplay improvements should alo lead to more compelling & realistic Endurance races as well - just in time for this weekend´s Le Mans... -
Automobilista 2 June 2026 Development Update - Pt 2
Greetings Everyone!
Here we go then for Pt2 of the June Development Update – this complements Part 1 posted last Saturday.
We are on the verge of deploying the new V1.6.9.8 update for Automobilista 2 but still with a lot of valuable information to cover about it that we didn´t quite get to in Pt1, let´s jump straight into it then to get you up to par with what we have been cooking!

AMS2 is an unusually complex project from a licensing perspective, with a vast collection of manufacturers, teams, championships, circuits, and historical content, each governed by... -
Automobilista 2 June 2026 Development Update - Pt 1
Greetings everyone!
We are once again approaching the release of a major update to Automobilista 2 – one that has grown bigger and taken longer than originally planned in large part due to some licensing hold-ups we are still in process of resolving.
Our developers haven´t been standing around while that has been taking place however - on the contrary, this has been one of our most productive development stints, the result of which being far more cool content, features and improvements stacked up with the next update than the version bump to v1.6.9.8 would suggest; better still, the update scheduled to follow V1.6.9.8 is also progressing within its original schedule so we could well end up with not just one but two big update releases before the end of June.
All things considered there are more development highlights than could possibly cover within the confines of this one article, so we are going to be doing this in parts - here is part one of what...
