Reiza March 2020 Development Update - An Update on AMS2 Release
Greetings everyone! I hope everyone is doing OK and keeping safe.
What a difference a month can make right? A few weeks ago we had just deployed the first Beta build for AMS2 and were still firing on all cylinders pushing through our Beta program to get AMS2 ready for release on March 31st - a lot of work has been done in the 3 weeks we have been in Beta - we have just deployed our 5th BETA build tonight - but a lot remains to be done, and for that we relied on a strong couple of weeks in this final stint to reach a standard we´d be satisfied with for Automobilista 2 v1.0.
Unfortunately the last week has seen the World thrown into disarray, and with it the little chance we still had to get through the remaining workload in time for the 31st evaporated, as even though we already work in a fully remote operation and the Reiza team has not been directly impacted by COVID-19, things like this tend to bring indirect implications which have and will continue... -
Reiza February 2020 Development Update
So it´s finally there! AMS2 Beta has now been released to Backers as we enter the final month of development before Automobilista 2 is officially release on March 31st - we are very excited to be able to share what we have been working on all this time
In this final stretch we can finally begin sharing a little more not only about what the plans are for release, but also going forward - let´s get to it.
Beta Available - Proceed with Caution!
So the first build of AMS2 Beta has been deployed - always a big satisfaction and relief to reach this milestone.
Although the gameplay, content and general functionality of the Beta builds should be pretty representative of what its release state will be like, the game is very evidently unfinished - there is a lot still to be a lot bolted on over the coming weeks.
With the imminent release of AMS2 Beta we´ve had a huge influx of new people through the AMS2 Early Backing Campaign... -

Reiza January 2020 Development Update
Hello again folks, here we are for the first development update of 2020!
The year has started for us just like the last one ended - working flatout, with long night after long night testing everyone´s sanity
It has been another incredibly productive month, with further developments made in all fronts from vehicle to track art, Audio, Physics, AI, User Interface - all had one major development or another which is at once very exciting but also stressful as every time there is a breakthrough it demands some amount of rework to re-assemble related parts around it, and there´s so much the schedule will allow until we get to a stable build for release.
The details of what´s going on in all these fronts would be enough to fill two articles and bore many of you to death - the important thing is that we have managed to reach the end of the month just inside our planned milestones so things continue to move decisively towards release at some point late in... -
Reiza December 2019 Development Update
So here we are for the final Dev Update of the year!
Many of you will already be in 2020 by the time you see this - we however are still at it in what are the very last hours of 2019 in order to meet our final AMS2 milestones of the year!
It hasn´t been much of a Holiday Break so far - fittingly I get to switch off the figurative lights before I myself get some downtime to celebrate the beginning of what promises to be a great year. Then it will finally be time for some proper rest time before resuming on January 2nd
We aren´t complaining though - or at least no-one has yet to me It is indeed an exciting time as AMS2 is finally coming together it just keeps drawing us back. I have been away from my sim rig for only a few days and I already can´t wait to get back on it
On to the mission at hand then, which is to share what we have been up to all the way to these final hours of 2019!

Reiza October 2019 Development Update
Hello again folks!
October has come and gone - another month of intense work for us as we enter the latter stage of Automobilista 2 development before its initial release.
After months grinding away producing, updating and exporting a large number of cars and tracks, figuring the ins and outs of the new game engine and developing the required additional resources, things are now beginning to take form and potential is starting to turn into reality as the focus shifts from assembling the meat and bones of the sim to fine tuning the game into a cohesive whole.
There´s a lot of work still to be done to achieve that, so let´s go over where we are
AMS2 Release Schedule Update
Beginning with what may not be so good news - although things have been progressing nicely and more or less within the planned schedule, with most major issues already cleared and a large content base already in place, we have decided to push release a bit from December 2019 to... -
Reiza September 2019 Development Update

The final update to Automobilista is out, and with it the last DLCs featuring two popular British tracks as Donington Park and Snetterton are also available both as standalone items as well as a part of the AMS Season Pass:
DONINGTON PARK

While a hotfix for eventual minor glitches from this release is possible, v1.5.24 is the last major update and marks the conclusion for Automobilista development. To celebrate the occasion we have launched the Automobilista Ultimate Edition, which bundles the base game with the Automobilista Season Pass, granting you all that AMS has to offer in a single purchase, 50% off the full price!

Don´t get too excited yet though as this is not for a recon trip.. yet anyway just visiting the Sim Expo which is going on again this weekend, of course I had to find some time to wrap this update!
August has been another very busy month - this is some of what we have been up to the last few weeks:

Reiza July 2019 Development Update
Hello everyone! We are back with another Dev Update to bring you the latest news about our active projects.
This has been another very busy month for the team, and possibly (hopefully!) the last in which we have worked in 3 different sims simultaneously (AMS1, rF2 & AMS2). It´s fair to say switching back and forth from engines doesn´t make things easy for the devs who are involved in all these fronts, so kudos to them for continuing to push hard in order to bring us up to the status I can now present to you
On rF2 there´s not much news yet as we´re still working on small update for the Bundle to fix a few remaining issues. This should not take long now.
For AMS1, we also didn´t quite make to release before the end of July as we had been aiming for, but August will surely see the release of Snetterton and Donington Park as final DLC items for Automobilista 1, along with a small patch for a few tweaks and minor bug fixes.
Both Snetterton and... -

Please welcome our new Community Manager @Heitor Facuri Cicoti - you may have seen his friendly face around the forums before, often with some helpful advice for users running into some issue.
Heitor was already an active participant in the community and will now be helping out in an official capacity as Reiza Community Manager, bridging communications between users and the dev team while we´re off doing our thing, be it for support or other enquiries, on the forums, social media and email both in english and portuguese.
Welcome aboard Heitor -
Reiza June 2019 Development Update
Greetings all!
Happy to finally resume with our monthly dev updates we seem to have started a bit of a sim racing trend with these updates back in the early days of AMS1 development, but for the last year or so have gone a bit quieter and working behind the curtains while the baseline for AMS2 was finally getting assembled.
The curtains are obviously lifted now and you can be sure we´ll have lots to share again from now on - I look foward to bringing you the fresh news over the remaining months before AMS2 release and beyond.
Reiza rF2 Bundle Update
First things first: as previously announced this week we released an update for our Reiza Bundle in rFactor2, and Imola now features two new versions, adding to the previously released Imola 1972 and 2018:
Imola 1988, featuring the famous flat-out blast from Variante Bassa, through Tamburello and Villeneuve all the way to Tosa, then the tight Acque Mineralli Chicane... -
Reiza General Update - Fresh 2019 News!
Hello everyone!
Time to break radio silence again to bring you some fresh news about what´s happening with Reiza and our projects over recent weeks and for the foreseeable future.
Reiza rFactor 2 Bundle - May Update
As previously announced, we´ve continued development of the rF2 content this month focusing primarily on development of the two additional Imola versions - the 1988 and 2001 layouts, which will be added free of charge to all who bought the Imola track or any pack that included it.
Below a couple of WIP previews - now the rF2 Mclarens will have some era-accurate official tracks to stretch their legs on
There´s also been some work done elsewhere in the pack with further polishing and sorting a few remaining issues - more notably we have added the missing wet tire compound for the MCR S2000 and we are working on adding the turbo model to the Metalmoro cars that feature it.

Reiza rF2 Bundle - Info, Tips and Development Update
We´ll be using this topic to report on the ongoing development of the rF2 Bundle, as well as relevant info and tips to get the best experience out of it
Although the rF2 engine is in many ways still similar to our AMS engine (and even big differences like tyre modelling have eventually delivered surprisingly similar results on both sims), there are still a number of differences, not just with the physics engine but also configurations and how FFB, audio, controllers are set up which can add up to very different experiences.
The goal has always been to make the transition both from AMS to rF2 as well as from other rF2 cars and tracks relatively seamless, and we´ll point out a few ways to better bridge those gaps.
Since release we´ve also found some ground to cover in order to get closer to that goal and generally improve the quality of the pack. Quite a bit has already been done in the 3 weeks since release - we currently have an update in testing which should hopefully be... -
