Formula reiza cars engine breaks around lap 30

Late 90s IndyCars rarely raced at full boost during races as the engine wear was extreme. Full boost was generally only for qualifying, re/starts, or passing situations. Even in the old Papyrus ICR2 you usually ran most the race at boost 6 or 7 to preserve the engine. The engine should blow after a while at full boost.

 

Agreed, but in game there would be no way to compete with the AI. They have simplified physics, one setup for all tracks (save the low downforce variant, with its one setup). They don't even use the hard or medium tyres leaving the player disadvantaged in terms of grip and tyre warm up when conditions demand. Not to mention no penalties for infractions. Either, accept the comprises (I struggle and it's very frustrating) or hope Reiza will do something to balance things out. Sadly I'm not convinced it will ever happen, far too much complexity and content to revise, but I'm more than willing to be proved wrong...
