That common sense is often wrong, or that the common sense is telling him, that it's contributing to the hesistance to turn?

Maybe the swaying I'm noticing is tire shake?

The diffs being sticky could trigger this kind of reaction I imagine. But the way the car sort of bounces on each side at the rear I kind of think it's more of a suspension resonance thing. But who knows.

    Driver experience.
    (Ethan)
Kind of funny really when folk talk of camera shake in a sim. Real Cars are mental esp these beasts
Maybe the tyre is better and reflects this? Who knows.
I dont, but just like the taming, even if I know as odd/incorrect, still not perfect.
I am suprised (still) that many people have such wide differing experience. (I have no straight line thing, just some things we have discussed here and other threads + discords.
79 has caught more positive attention, and the more the merrier.
27's ref to braking and throttle jab was exactly in my incar replay my T1 at recent posted video. Im just going to enjoy the motors for now. More will be revealed to me when I run wet, when the ffb/ car comes a bit more alive.

Edit The 79 in the thunderstorm scenario is nice but the wet tyres seem to wear pretty quickly
FFB may need adjusting, hopefully just this end, as some subtleties were not felt.

Well I can hardly tell a diff from a daffodil, but I'm absolutely loving the bt44 now. My favourite car in the whole game by a country mile. Warts and all, it's the car I'm most competitive in.

    A look back in time

Present times. What happened to some of the iconic machines.

AMS2 whats going to compete with the Lotus Black beauty?
In case you missed it, the clue is in the wording

The future looks bright for this class of car in the sim as it gets a closer look from the Insomniac Development team.
A nice vid of the 72

It's a funny scene that really did happen (Lauda actually said this to a translator in Enzo Ferrari's presence), but it also demonstrates that F1 cars in the past were far from universally well-designed. If the original Ferrari 312 B3 was that bad, imagine how bad the rest must have been! I actually find it hard to believe that sims where these types of cars can be driven hard with zero issues of understeer accurately model the basic driving dynamics.

Using some logical reasoning here then Lauda must have some much better car behaviour in his mind since he could say that the Ferrari was (behaved as) utter garbage.;)
I mean he didnt compare this Ferrari to some ideal racing car - but to a car he had been driving or tested.:)

Yeah i know, he was doing the big nono in front of the Bossman, actually. The guy really had some serious courage... :D

Well, they're not designed to are brutally understeery and unresponsive (how they were at release), but it's no secret, that it needs power oversteer and smooth entry for a reason, to be fast.^^

Retro class is very nice atm. @Renato Simioni certainly the Brabham fan car ,
not tried the bt44 since update

Starting to like the hairdryer, even more, many thanks to Reiza and team.
In answer to OP, car is drivable out the box imo default as in video, and plenty of revs gives a good suck!!:D.
Online Test race highlights, with high ai and online players.
getting familiar with the beasty!! at the 'Green'

Monaco where Lauda ran it, (pics elswhere) heck wont think about that lol.

Yes credit where credit is due, they are very enjoyable for me when they weren’t a couple months ago. I also can’t help, but notice that you didn’t spin at Flugplatz.

These do feel a bit sketchy at slow speeds as was mentioned in the other thread, but nothing major for me fortunately. And I think it’s within gray area.

I went and snatched 1st place at Spielberg 77 with the Dyson. Crushed the Lotus, a whopping .050s faster :D.

It looks so fast at Nords, I need to try that.

Flat out after a lap or 2 no problem at all.
we all had an off moment at other parts of track inc ai making error in front of me lol

Yes, Adelaide. Monaco, etc. Non Historic tracks, hairpins lol not for me in fanny car. lowering gears would help but, hey ho
Its a beast and yes faster so far, Ive yet to run the Lotus against humans in Fan car, it will be interesting, there are some fast guys out there in Brabham. Ai get interesting at highest levels though.
Storms coming I think, love the lightning here at 5 am:D

Now all I need is a functional airspeed gauge in the Hoover.

    And historic Long Beach!

'The Man' said it may happen at some point, also when skirts get accurate damage though I believe the car had a simple green to red zone gauge.
But yes nice gauge looks cool, working even better, dont have much time to look at it though.
Ears are important in this car to gauge engine revs =downforce
