I'd like to see the date being announced ahead of the release, but with the actual release happening on that announced date too

Yep, Reiza could certainly benefit from hiring someone who understands marketing and promotion, they're horrible at it.

I couldn't agree more with what you've said. AMS2 is such a gem among racing sims when it comes to content, features and the endless possibilities it offers. Not to mention the amazing community of players and the development team, who are incredibly friendly, hard working and their dedication to improvements is remarkable. Unfortunately communication with the public, showcasing features, and building hype around new updates is a huge missed opportunity, and it’s such a shame.

It would have been great to see AMS2 at the Sim Racing Expo with a preview of the 1.6 update. Having Renato and the team there would have helped give the game some visibility. I watched tons of videos from content creators who attended, and while AC Evo was the star of the show, we also saw other sims like AC, ACC, iRacing, and even Raceroom. Sadly, I couldn’t spot AMS2 anywhere.

What happened to those review videos promissed by the creators? Still waiting on the green light? It's been what, a month since the overtake stream? I was under the impression that shortly after the stream more creators would get the chance to try the game and give their opinion on it. Since there hasn't been anything new on that side I don't expect the update to drop any time soon.

Strange that all we got was a shambles of a live stream and nothing after. I thought they would want to get something out after that

Reiza doesn't have to be afraid of Kunos, and Kunos doesn't have to be afraid of Reiza. We are crazy enough to have 10 simulations on our PC. You know that yourself.

    We are family...

oh heck...I still have LFS and RBR on the PC.
Our racing heart is definitely big enough for Evo to fit in it.
There are fanboys and sim racers.

Sim racers should try every simulation. and when I read things here about Toca and GP4 I know that it's probably true for the most part.

When you people bought AMS 2, what was a surprise for you?

For me it was not only having current gen of F1 (F.Ultimate G2), but also in the base game.
And design liveries it's easier than the official F1 games..

Also the Brasília track. I was so happy because it's not famous and it's where I live..

I spent the night trying Rennsport. Drives pretty well and the FFB although bland is very intuitive. The physics feel a lot like a more forgiving RF2.

Sound was ok, the graphics were ugly to my eyes even on epic settings. FPS is pretty bad too, at least on my system, I struggled to get a steady 60fps, on medium settings. In AMS2 on high settings it is rare that I drop below 100 fps.

The only thing positive I have to say is that the projection correction feature is great for curved monitors, I really wish AMS2 had it. And the community created track feature is pretty nice.

I don't think I will ever drive it again...

The new track is great, but I wouldn't expect anything different coming from Nukedrop.

The fact that the game can run and look stunning on my GTX 970. I've gotten used to ACC up until that point and with my system it was either 35fps High settings or 65fps low-ish settings. Not having to choose between the two was a huge surprise and has made me think a lot about code optimization when I write my own...

I felt a big improvement from the first time I played it in closed beta. Performance is still not great and unreal engine is a blurry mess as usual but ffb and physics felt much better than I remember.
If they would have used a different engine rennsport could of been interesting. IMO using UE killed it before it even began.

I was surprised to see so many purely European classes and tracks, given that it was a Brazil-focused sim. I thought I would see a track like Tykkimäen Moottorirata in Raceroom, but not in Automobilista!

I remember the first time I bought game stock car to find that there were more F1 cars in that game than stock cars. It was surely confusing

Probably all the weird and wacky cars I’d never seen or heard of before since most sims aren’t really focusing on Brazilian Motorsports outside of the Stock Cars if you’re lucky. For example I’d never seen or heard of Aussie Racing Cars, the Imperio Endurance prototypes, the Roco 001 (can I please get this as its own class so I can have a full grid of them??), the Copa classics, etc. It’s hard to even find info on some of them online that doesn’t link to the Cars of AMS2 website, so without AMS2 I probably never would’ve known about any of them let alone thought to try them out in a sim.
