I’ve just changed the sharpening setting in the graphics config file in the documents folder and omg what a difference. Why isn’t it like this as a default ?

I think i'll get it when its more developed, more dlcs are out and in a sale in the future. I wish the tracks werent limited to the ones from WEC though.

    Documents - ams2 - graphicsconfigdx11
Use notepad to open and Scroll down and look for sharpening strength 0.000000 and I’ve changed mine to 1.100000
Just to add I’m running everything on maximum at 5160 x 2160 and it’s looking sublime

Thank you, but I just realized you are talking about AMS2 & I thought you mean LMU.

Thanks for the tip! Makes me wonder why this (IMHO useful) setting isn't exposed to the user via the options menu.

Yes, LMU looks great. I was lucky to be one of the few people for whom the game ran fine right from the start. I applied some changes that I always did in Rfactor2 to LMU and it works & plays really nice.
I‘m excited to race the Alpine at Le Mans next week, let‘s see if the engine is more reliable in the virtual world :D
I really hope that we will also get the ELMS content, which would mean we would get Barcelona, Le Castellet & Mugello on top!

Yes I was a day one purchaser of LMU and for me it’s worked really well , I’m mainly an offline player and have been using the RF2 log analyser to manually run a WEC season in the lmp2 class. I have yet to buy any dlc as I’m really hoping TrackIR support comes along as I do miss it.

Is changing nickname/username in this forum possible? What is right place to ask this?

I have wanted to play AMS1 many times, but I always encounter the first and biggest problem, which is automatic rotation. Then, after multiple attempts and failures, I uninstalled it. After a long time, I downloaded it again and then uninstalled it again.
I really don't know how to implement it on a new device.

I had that issue as well. I just ended up using an average rotation that worked for the majority of cars I commonly drove. That worked fine in most cases.

It is weekend again, ladies and gents, so another topic:
Now DD's and Active pedals are a thing of reality. What else would you think that will enhance or benefit simracing greatly?

Some more futuristic tech in the same category: Vestibular stimulation. Combats motion sickness and is (together with multi-/varifocal lenses) one of the future must-haves before VR can go mainstream, but it can also give haptic clues to the driver such as tiny movement signalling when the car is breaking traction. The technology is very much in the research phase at the moment, so I think a commercial product is closer to 20 years away than 10 years away.

Speaking of VR, I think a cheaper version of the Apple Vision Pro could be beneficial to combat motion sickness

Simagic and Moza do have active pedals. Which means it automatically alters the 'pressure', etc from car to car. Also ABS, etc etc.

@Racinglegend1234 I was looking at such a thing, but I am afraid it will ruin my comfort I currently have in the chair.
