One interesting thing is that some steering wheel buttons can flash. That is to say, players can set the buttons on the steering wheel to flash when ABS and TC are activated.
Then the last time I played LMU, I noticed that even though the ABS was turned off and the vehicle did not have ABS function, the steering wheel was already flashing.

Simagic have patents on some, but haven’t released any. I wish that it will work with my P1000 pedal set so I can get the ABS effect. I have the haptics, but I think active pedals will be better

well buying new pedals mean you have to re adjust everything so I understand. I’m interested in seeing how good the Moza ones are

Lights flashing in LMU indicates tyre locking, it works the same way in AMS2 with the hypercars AFAIK

You are pushing against an electric motor instead of a collection of springs and dampers, that means you could theoretically set up FFB in the brakes, feeling things such as brake locks, ABS kicking in, aswell as simulating Gforce. But I think the technology is still pretty green and don't know how much simulators are using this tech atm.

if I recall correctly, using settings differently from default can mess up triple screens and you end up with stretched lines across the monitors.

It's weekend, so time for another topic:
If you were Renato for one day and what is one thing you would change in AMS2.

The community (and employees honestly!) would be cranky because of how massive of an undertaking this... but adding the Targa Florio to AMS 2!

It will never happen, and for very good reason. But imagine how amazing a Reiza version of the Targa would look...

I would add an option to drive old GT3s and GT4 with SRO/IMSA BOP.

I wouldn't change anything, I would take a well-deserved day off and let the rest of the team do the same. :p

Plus, there's only so much you can achieve in a single day... But if we were talking about weeks, months... years? Different story. :)

If it wasn't for the 1.6 delays I would have never tried flight sims (FS2020). My current goal is fly over every important circuit and land on them. Mount Panorama and Paul Ricard ticked on my list already

I used to fly around Ireland daily in August 2020. Cessna VFR/VOR flying is awesome. Sold my stuff one month later, cause MSFS was quite buggy that time.

So... with the Motorsport Games final stages of downfall occurring right now (more layoffs and yesterday announced they're looking for a buyer or a merger)... my question is, who actually owns the isiMotor (gMotor) tech? Does Studio 397 outright own it (source code, ability to license it out, etc), or is that all still under Image Space Inc (who just gave up rF2 and usage of the engine to Studio 397, and later Motorsport Games)?

Well dang... I got a reply from Traxion writer (after my bit saucy reply to their article about the Motorsport Games situation). My 3rd part was asking specifically about who holds the isiMotor rights...

Rfactor2 and LMU are good simulations, but buying this engine is something I would stay away from.
The foundations are very old & it will take a while to learn & understand the engine and than you have to move on with it, meaning developing version 3.0 (or whatever version would be the next one). Only after this, you can continue to develop a new game.
This doesn‘t sound like a real bargain to me.
